I have to say I wasn’t fond of the coffee, at all, which is the reason for the four stars, instead of 5, but, as others have said, The Owner, Mark, is very friendly and takes the time to chat with you and tries to learn your name when you come in, while working on your order. I have only tried the muffins(blueberry was good) and the«western» breakfast sandwich on an Asiago bagel and it is always really good. They serve it with roasted red peppers and red onions and it is always delicious. The building is Seahawks Blue & Green and the interior is filled with cat décor.

This business is a much needed addition to the area. The owner, Mark, is friendly and also kind of fascinating(ask him how he got into the coffee biz if you have a moment). The coffee is outstanding, their chicken salad sandwiches are my favorite and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. I’m happy to see so many other patrons feel the same way!

The definition of a small-town café, but with a ton of personality. Great ambiance, incredibly friendly and involved owner, and awesome coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Smoothies are very tasty too! You cannot be in a rush if you’re going there because it can be quite slow, but you don’t notice because the owner has a friendly conversation with you in the meantime while you wait, or you at least have your coffee! A little pricy but it’s a great experience, I love that it’s a family place, it’s incredibly warm and welcoming. Sadly they do stop serving breakfast sandwiches at 11 though, so get there before then if that’s what you’re looking for! I bring all my out of town friends because it’s all the charm of east haddam in one coffee shop.

Visited this place for the first time yesterday. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. I just had a hot coffee which was fresh, the right strength but lacked a full body richness(Possibly some of the oils from the coffee beans was absent?). What impressed me the most was that the owners allowed a a veteran to sit outside by the entrance collect funds for the a veteran’s organization this Memorial Day weekend. A «big thank» you to the owners

We just stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich. The owner, Mark, introduced himself and talked to us like we were actual people whose business he appreciated. It was a bit surprising in this fast food world. He even told us we could sit out back with our dog if he followed the rules. The sandwich was good. We got some water for our pooch and felt incredibly welcome even though we were just passing by. Great place run by good people.

I have always wanted a place to open like this in the area I live in. It’s about a half hour away from where I live but worth the drive! There are a shortage of cafes where you can listen to live music while you get your grub on in CT so I was so happy to finally try this one! I tried 3 sandwiches as my group shared with each other and they were all delicious. There is outside seating on the porch and garden area and the inside is a cozy café with 3 different seating areas(I sat in a big comfy chair and ate while watching a great acoustic performance). It’s super family friendly and cat lovers will surely love the décor here. I’m not a coffee drinker but my friends enjoyed their lattes. A perfect day is a stop here on the way to or back from a hike in the area! Check Facebook for their music schedule if you want to catch the tunes!

By far my favorite coffee place, ever. Delicious latte’s and specialty drinks. The place has great character, unique tables and big comfortable chairs to relax and enjoy a nice coffee. I love to get the roasted vegetable n’ egg breakfast sandwich with asiago cheese, a nice alternative to breakfast meats. Mark the owner is the best, such friendly customer service! Only wish it was along my commute into work every morning!

This place is adorably odd and the food is good. You should take your favorite cat person because they take the cat theme as seriously as a crazy aunt who gives you cat sweaters every year because you pet her kitten once. They have a pretty garden too, but no actual cats?

Every time I’m in CT for a visit my other half and I make it a point to stop by. Perhaps it’s the comfort home like feeling it gives, or the friendly service provided. Either way, it’s an enjoyable spot to stop by for a little something to eat(and drink) Times: We usually go around lunch time during the weekday. Cost for two: Between $ 20-$ 25 pending on what you get(2 meals + 2 coffees) Pros: –The place is cute and feels as though you were invited into someone else home. –Meals affordable and the coffee is good. –Service has always been very personable and genuine. –Decent amount of seating area both table, bar style and comfort lounge style. –Outlets available. –Free WIFI(with password, which is noted on signs) –I enjoy that fact they have a deck of cards available, as well as Uno. Which we indulge in every time we go. –I come from a line of crazy cat ladies so I am a fan of their set up. –Though very cat oriented, they do have complementary treats for dogs Things to note: –The food does take a bit(I think cause there’s only one guy, so I get it) –The veggie wrap is slightly over powering in taste. –Reuben is a good choice. –I’m not to much a fan of their baked goods(I’m not sure if they’re homemade or not) Mostly because I bake myself so I’m a little more particular about that world. Over all, nice place to stop by if you’ve got the time. I feel as a non-local of the community it represents a feeling of home town sweetness. I told my other half that if I ever got into baking I’d love to work at place like this.

Hard to miss this brightly painted building. Tons of parking as well. The outside has a garden and a deck with several picnic tables to eat at. Inside, has a very homey feel to it. Very good overall experience. The owner starts out by introducing himself and shaking your hand. He truly sounds interested in what you have to say as well. Upon leaving, even though he was busy at the cash register he thanked me by name, nice touch. Although my bread was toasted perfectly and there was an abundance(good thing) of dressing on it, the portion size is a bit on the small/lite side. Not that I was looking for NYC size portions(where they measure the meat in inches) but a bit more would have been great. The ice tea was fantastic. Definitely will visit them again

Loved it. Every person I walked by said hello or good morning. The owner introduced himself and shook my hand. Everything was made quickly and was amazing. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Free wifi. I totally found my new Starbucks, which has nothing on Two Wrasslin Cats. My breakfast/dinner hangout! FYI, live music featured as well on weekends.

Great atmosphere, this place is a lot of fun to visit, each time we’ve been in a new room and noticed different things. The outdoor seating is nice to. We came here for breakfast on a Sunday when they serve breakfast later and it was delicious. Another weekend we came here for breakfast after they stopped serving(I think they stop serving breakfast at 11am) so we had to get sandwiches instead. I got the thanksgiving dinner sandwich which was turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. The sandwich was a bit dry and the dressing was mushy. We’ll return for breakfast if we wake up in time.

We stopped by here on the way through CT and we loved it! The breakfast sandwich was well made and tasted great. And I loved the blueberry muffins. Also the décor makes you feel like you sitting in someones sun room. And cat art everywhere! what is not to love?

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon after visiting Gillette Castle a few weeks ago and this place is absolutely adorable. I ordered the hot spiced chai tea and shrimp and corn chowder soup special. The soup was absolutely amazing. My husband ordered a hot vanilla chai tea and a sandwich and he enjoyed both. The ambience is really cute and cozy. I am a sucker for cute, fuzzy creatures(especially cats and bunnies) so the décor was right up my alley. The fireplace was an unexpected treat, even though the chairs surrounding it were occupied at the time. I would have rated this place even higher if there were any gluten free alternatives for bread or wraps, but I can’t really fault them for that since they are a café and not a deli. But the staff is really friendly and the coffee and food menus are pretty impressive, so overall this place is a winner!

Whimsical little coffee/café offering a nice selection of very good caffeinated beverage options with a small selection of pastries, sandwiches, paninis and the like. The place is lovingly tended by the owner, apparently a PhD(according to the business card I spied on the counter) and the obvious heart and soul of the place. Plenty of cosy seating options to catch up with a friend or get some work done while refueling. A real gem.

How adorable is this place? We drove by this place looking for a lunch. I didn’t stop here b/c I have two burger and fries types with me and I thought I would get some eye rolls. I stopped for a drink after lunch and was so glad I did. The iced vanilla latte I got was delicious and served by a friendly guy, who turned out to be the owner! I don’t live around here so I have no idea when I’ll be back but if you live there, Go!
