I’ve ordered food from here a few times and it’s okay. I haven’t been wowed as compared to some other Caribbean spots I have visited.

I ordered the curry chicken, rice and peas and steam veggies. It was pretty good. Was it the best I’ve ever had? no but it’s decent. I’m lowering my review because they don’t take cards and aren’t on seamless. Also the location sucks! No Parking.

Good Caribbean food. The service is kinda slow, but the food is worth it! The goat curry was really really good, and I liked the spinach they had. Bake&Things is a bit better, but this place is close! Have to go back to try their other options too.

I have come to Esquisite several times in the past and the food has been pretty good. To my dismay, the last order of beef was awful. The plate consisted of mostly very large bones, fat and a «bare» amount of meat. A side order of mac and cheese was anything but. The top was a very bland, thin layer of «tasteless» cheese(I think American cheese — cheeder cheese is usually used in most recipes which provides flavor). The bottom was lacking«any» cheese and looked like bare mac that was taken right from the pot without any addition of cheese, milk, flovoring, etc. It wasn’t even slightly that yellow/orange color you see mac and cheese… just the color pasta is after you’ve just boiled it! I would add, this experience was highly unusual for this restaurant in my experience. The food purchased in the past has been good. They need to work on the beef, preferably some with meat on the bones(or how about boneless) and the mac and cheese. I will. try them again but will definitely try something different as I know they can do better.

I would have given this place 5 stars prior to my last experience. This was always my go to spot for jerk chicken and the best Mac and cheese ever. When I was working in Brooklyn and my primary residence was in Manhattan I was reliant on the MTA. I would take a bus to get there which cost me about 40 minutes of additional travel time. When I came to primarily reside in Queens, I would drive to Brooklyn for no other reason but to get this chicken and mac and cheese. However, my last experience might well be the last time I patronize this restaurant. The chicken was bone dry. The texture alone was at best off putting. What made it inedible was the toxic level of hot pepper. When I got home and opened the bag, everyone’s eyes began to tear. It was like pepper spray. Truly harmful and unforgivable. I give three stars(passable) only for the memories of better experiences.

This place is the absolute bomb-diggity! Food so good, it’s like it’s tap dancing on your taste buds, doing Michael Jackson moonwalks and shit. I’m not even kidding. If you’re looking for legitimately good Caribbean food with awesome music playing from the speakers as you walk in, this is the place. Not the classiest of places but there are some tables and seats but it’s usually the type of thing you want to take home and enjoy. I’ve taken white friends here, who now love the Caribbean taste. I’ve taken black family here, that now loves the Caribbean taste. I’ve taken Asians here, that now love the Caribbean taste. If you come here, YOU will love the Caribbean taste! BUP!

Oh, Exquisite Supreme, you’ll be the death of me. I grew up(and still live) in a predominantly Caribbean neighborhood, and I’ve been lucky to experience what good Caribbean food should taste like. I’ve had my share of oxtail — thanks to my Jamaican mothers(two neighbors who«adopted» me). Exquisite Supreme’s oxtail: It’s not swimming in grease, and it’s packed with boatloads of flavor; that’s how you want oxtail to be, and how restaurants should make it.
