Cape Cod Floor Pros

I hired Floor pros based on the beautiful photos and great review on Unilocal.Little did I know he had done work for several of my neighbors, all of whom had glowing reports. I called late in the afternoon, he came that evening to look at the job, and we had a professional, competitive estimate that night via email. James said he wouldn’t be able to do our job for a few weeks, but he fit us in ahead of schedule. The job was quick and clean. I had a small issue I wasn’t happy with and James came back that night and fixed it right up. Our floors look fantastic and I will recommend Cape Cod Floor Pros to anyone who asks. I posted some before and after photos.

James and his crew did such a great job on refinishing our hardwood floors! They came out gorgeous and we could not be happier. Very professional team too. Highly recommended!

The only reason I gave James Watts and his business (Cape Cod Floor Pros) five stars is because I couldn’t give him seven. He and his crew installed new pine floors in three bedrooms. They also moved the large furniture, removed and discarded the carpeting in all three rooms. I had used other contractors in the past and their incompetence on several levels was infuriating. Not so this time. James is the essence of professionalism. I checked out his references, and their glowing reports convinced me to go with him.
He knows his stuff — woods and related flooring materials, finishes, installation methods, what does and does not work in certain situations and much more.
I needed pine floors to match the rest of the house, but despite the relatively soft wood I needed a finish that could not be damaged by my energetic 75-​lb black lab’s nails. So far (a month later) the floor finish appears bulletproof, unlike finishes applied by other contractors who promised the same thing. Installing floors is a dusty business, and by using tool vacuums and plastic sheeting and working outside wherever possible James kept dust in the house to a minimum.
James finished the job on time (we delayed him a bit) and on budget. His prices are comparable to other estimates I received, but the quality of his work and his professionalism made choosing him a no-​brainer. He’s the go-​to guy for my next floor project.
