Lee, the owner, does a good job with the nails. The place is clean and she runs a very tight ship. She’s constantly overseeing the girls working and checks to make sure they’re on task. She has an element of tough love for what she does and that’s ok! The nails are powder dipped, not brushed on acrylic. The owner knows what she’s doing! Overall, the quality of work is worth the visit and I will return.

Let me just start off with I give this place negative 0 stars ! I went to Lee’s Nails on 12/27/2015 and got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. My pedicure was done by one of the Spanish workers and let me point out she’s did a lovely job. My issues weren’t with her ! It was more so with Jennifer the gel nail tech! She not only did a horrible job just painting my nails but a horrible job filing them too. I NEVER complain but let me just say this time I had too! It was a disaster from the start, she was rough and in a rush. But since I didn’t want to be confrontational, I just told her boss next time I don’t want my nails done by her! Usually a gel manicure last 2 weeks right? WRONG, In this place you may as well get a regular manicure it would last you longer! I went back to lees on the 30th because my middle finger on the left hand was already chipped and so was my ring finger on the same hand. I called lees and told her my frustration she asked me to come in and she’d fix it. I went and she supposedly fixed it by filing over the nail polish and just repainting over my nail. She fixed it in her way, but it was presentable and that’s all that mattered to me honestly. Well let me say I was wrong again, today is 1÷1÷16 and my nails whom are suppose to last me 2 weeks are all chipped AGAIN! I am furious !!! DONOTDONOTDONOT get a gel manicure at this place! SERIOUSLYITIS A WASTEOFMONEY. You are better off getting a regular Manipedi ! I really should of read the reviews to this place before I went. I’m literally fuming right now.

This place is horrible! They did a pedi and a mani on my mom. They did her mani on her by holding her hand in the air and Doing it! I’ve never seen a place do that! A person is supposed to get seated at a table and get their mani done!!! they were in such a rush to get the mani and pedi done so they did it at the same time. The mani was horrible as it was all fucked up. The owner said its because it’s a walk in? Like are you fucking serious! My mom didn’t even get to sit at a table and get mani done! The outcome of the mani and pedi was horrible! They did it in five minutes and didn’t care! The owner didn’t want to get questioned so she said, «No English! «The pedi was disgusting as well! They ladies didn’t even spend time to clean anything. do not ever come here! Save yourself the trip and go somewhere else! LIKEWTF!

I’m surprised at the negative reviews for this spot. I’ve been going to this salon religiously weekly for a regular manicure for 10 years now and they always treated me with respect, with kindness and generosity. Whether I need just a regular mani or acrylics when I’m feeling spicy, they seem to get the job done and get it done well with very reasonable prices. Unfortunately life’s been getting in the way as of late so I haven’t been able to pay visits as much as I’d like to but whenever I do get the chance, this is my go to spot.

The owner(Okee) does a great Gel French manicure. the best I’ve had and I have had them all over Queens and the pricey Manhattan salons too! She really is an expert at putting the white on and does it absolutely evenly. She is a perfectionist in everything and likes everything to go the way she wants it to. Her staff is nice. I like Theresa for Pedicure but really no one is terrible and the prices are decent. The owner is also very concerned about repeat business… she is ever watchful of everything that goes on and nothing gets past her! I think she strives to make sure a good job is done by both her and her staff.

I actually like this place because they are really close to my house so it’s really convenient. The owner is funny and the workers are nice for the most part. They do a good job with the gel(which I’ve had on for a while now) which they charge $ 25 for. They have decent nail selections, I just wish they had OPI and would fix up the place a little bit. Other than that it’s a nice place to go and it’s super convenient location wise.

DONOTGOHERE. THEMANAGERISTHEWORST. ALLSHECARESABOUTISMONEY. SHEDOESN’T CAREABOUTCLIENTALORMAINTAININGCONSISTENTCUSTOMERS. First of all, I’d like to say that they do the same quality of work as every other nail salon in the city. This review is based quality of both work and customer service. PLEASEREADEXPERIENCEBELOW: I went in today(Tuesday) for the M-W mani-pedi special for $ 17, which I think is a great deal. The woman they gave me was a Korean woman(I point this out because I am Korean myself). The pedicure was great until she put my sandals back on and decided to re-remove the non-existant nail polish that was there(since she had previous used nailed polish remover on my nails before putting the sandals on) and when she did she paid absolutely no attention to what she was doing a completely ruined my sandal. I didn’t say anything at this point and waited until I had a chance to look at it better. I lifted my toes from my other sandal as far as possible from my sandal for my other foot. When we moved to the manicure part I took time to look at my shoe and the brown leather had been completely stripped to a very light color under my toes. I was extremely upset and when the lady came to sit down she saw that I was mad and I told her that she had ruined my shoe and she continuously apologized for it but that wasn’t going to change the fact that it happened. I continued to be upset during the manicure and she left my table temporarily to go speak to the manager in KOREAN. AS I SAIDBEFORE I AMKOREANSO I KNEWWHATTHEYWERESAYING. And the manager seemed to care very little about the situation. When the lady sat back down at my station I told her that I was Korean and that I knew they were talking about me but she also didn’t take that into consideration. The lady working on me offered to buy me a new shoe and I asked if I could just have at least the pedicure portion discounted($ 10) but I had already paid since you usually pay before they finish. She told me to ask the manager so I asked the manager and she told me that I could never have my money back and that it didn’t matter to her and that I could give her my shoe and she would give it back to me 2 days later fixed but then how would I get home. I asked to just have a refund and she just said it wasn’t possible. So it’s possible to buy me a new shoe or fix my shoe but it’s not possible to give me my money back? Nail polish only costs about $ 7 a bottle, I don’t even need to really go there. I just wanted to do something nice and relaxing. DONOTGOHERE. THEYARETHEWORST. **Note: Their business card is fake. It claims that they are called«Lee’s Nails,» which is written on their sign but it has never been fixed on line.

I’ve been coming here for a while because of it’s proximity to my apt. That is the only reason: the owner is rather loud and obnoxious, the staff are not the friendliest, the service is mediocre and their color selection is rather disappointing. Their pricing is definitely less than others(14 dollars for a pedicure) but then again so is the atmosphere. It’s nothing to write home about but it is rather clean, except for the orange tailed dog running around(I’m a big fan of dogs, but not so much at a nail salon) and they do have a decent number of people working on the weekends.
