Good food. We had eggs Benedict. Not much service. You order and pay at the table. iPads are fun. It’s a bit aggravating that they add fixed 18% tip but they don’t really provide service. They do bring out the food but that’s it. No beverage refills or follow up. Started with a 3 star but pulled back to a 2 because they told my wife that she wasn’t allowed to have any more iced tea Ok place to kill some time.

People need to be warned off this place. You order from an IPad and it feels totally impersonal. The tablets often don’t work and there always seem to be something wrong with you the credit card machine. Despite the supposed efficiency of electronic ordering Even though they charge you 18% the service is awful. I had to ask five times to get a glass of water. I’m serious. They encourage other people to share your tiny two person table. The workers here seem very unhappy and you wonder how much of the 18% they get.(You can dial the tip % down or up.) The seafood seemed fresh at least and was simply prepared. So it’s healthy. Overpriced for what you get. It’s a depressing experience– avoid it at all costs

Ordered the breakfast lobster roll to go, walked away and noticed no lobster, so went back. When I asked for the lobster he continued making other entrees while the eggs on my sandwich became cold. Then finally gave me the lobster and not much taste to it. 2 stars is generous.

Flight delays are frustrating– specially after a crazy work day — that is why I am so thankful for the staff at Anglers. From the top down Anglers exemplifies collaboration. Daisy champions an amazing team whose focus is on the customer. Johnny the bartender was a magician as he helped me relieve the stress of my day through his friendly banter. Daisy managed her wait staff much like a conductor in an orchestra– highlighting everyone ones talents. In short, my 2 hour delay was delightful. I enjoyed wonderful food and conversation– without stress or anxiety. Thank you Anglers staff for a wonderful experience at LGA!

Despite the horrible reviews I decided to take a chance because I felt like seafood. I went with clam strips because I feel like it’s hard to really mess up clam strips. They were fine, tasty enough but a lot of breading. The fries were good, fresh and crispy. As others have commented the service is mediocre. The menu said clam strips came with remoulade, but I was served with cocktail sauce. It took a few minutes before I got the remoulade after I requested it. It also took way too long to get the server’s attention to get a refill on water. If I didn’t flag her down I guarantee she wouldn’t have come back at all after delivering the food. I don’t think I would have been as annoyed if I hadn’t prepaid for gratuity on the iPad.

Would never spend another dollar here. Overpriced and horrible food. I got the fried pickles and they were so salty I drank my entire drink immediately and then they wanted to charge me $ 3.50 for a refill. Didn’t even eat the rest of the food. Such a waste of money and bad experience.

Terribly expensive. But what do you expect when you are eating at an airport? Tell me about an airport that has affordable food – I need to fly into that one and witness it. Anyways, stopped by here early in the morning craving a decent breakfast. I already knew that I would be spending a ridiculous amount of money for a mediocre breakfast, but I was hungry. I ordered poached eggs with a side of potatoes and bacon as well as a cappuccino. All together the total was around $ 20. There was absolutely NOTHING special about this entrée at all. My husband ordered eggs scrambled, potatoes and bacon as well and a cup of orange juice. It is completely ridiculous they charged nearly $ 5(I can’t remember the exact price but I believe it was close to that). It was a very small glass of OJ. In total, next time we will try our hardest to eat prior to flying. Unfortunately with time constraints, we were unable to do so. However, on the plus side, while I was settling in my seat and getting my son adjusted the gentleman greeted me and explained how things work as far as the IPADs go(yes you use an IPAD to order your food). He was very nice and courteous, so that is why I am giving them another star for that. Overall: I will try to eat before arriving at the airport.

The one star average is completely off and unfair. Tonight I ordered a poached lobster and it was pretty good. It came out pretty quickly and was very big. It was tasty. Next time I would like to get that special lobster eating utensil because I made a mess trying to use my hands. Also, there wasn’t as much meat as it looked like there would be. Still, not a bad meal!

This was the worst. Ordered the lobster roll which was served on a stale bun. The lobster itself was bland and its sauce tasted like diluted mayo. For $ 18 it’s fair to say I was both underwhelmed and disgusted. Despite there being a water glass, I was never offered for it to be filled. I used the iPad service tool to ask for help but was never checked on even though there were only three of us in the restaurant at the time. Do yourself a favor and check out somewhere else if you’re on layover at Laguardia in the C terminal.

What a rip off!!! Waited forever for our coffee arrive AFTER our food! They make you pay before and add gratuity. Stupid. There’s also no way their omelettes are three eggs because I can’t eat a three egg omelette. These are tiny! Save your money!

Run the other way! This place is expensive and that’s only if you can figure out how to place an order. I tried to order a salad 3 times and failed consistently. Their iPad based ordering completely sucks. Humans remember that you ordered. The iPad is happy to forget your order repeatedly. Go to the food court behind this restaurant. The food is better and far less expensive(I went to Artichoke for a slice of pizza after my salad never showed up!)

Terrible – sent back first cup of coffee, because the milk curdled. Second cup is cold and tasteless. Bagel came with cream cheese halfway spread and sitting on cold plate. Bagel was so chewy – stale that I couldn’t bite off pieces. Had to tear it. Cream cheese was good.

15 minutes after placing my order, I was told the bar was out of mint for my drink. They were also out of coke. The $ 15 half dozen oyster order contained two barely larger than a half dollar, and I had the pleasure of having my first warm fish ceviche without a drop of lemon. I squeezed the garnish from my drink over it.

Food/beverages are over priced. I placed my order and was charged right away but only received my over priced juice. My breakfast order was overlooked and not delivered until over 45 minutes later — toast and home fries were cold which matched the atmosphere — Bring a sweater!

I hate the iPad ordering system. There is no accommodation for food allergies. Bring back humans who know the menu and can place your order with the chef competently.

Had about 1 hour to waste before our flight took off and we were starving. Since there’s little to no food options by our gate we walked over to Gate C24 and found an array of at least 5 different restaurants. They had sit down tables available and a take out option as well. We decided to go with Anglers lobster roll. At first, I was a bit hesitant(like who gets a lobster roll at the airport) but there were no other appealing options. The purchasing process was a bit confusing. We placed our order on the tablet at the register, received a printed receipt and waited. Once our order was called, I proceeded to give him the receipt. He informed me he needed the paid receipt, I wasn’t aware we had to pay before picking up the order. We headed over to the cashier, paid and walked back over to pick up our food. When we asked for ketchup, we were told to go back over and get it from the cashier. It was just alot of confusion and unnecessary back and forth; They should have signs posted that inform people what the procedure is. In terms of the lobster roll, it was actually decent. The bread was whack but I enjoyed the lobster filling. The mayo was light and the sprinkles of dill were a nice touch.

Wish I had seen the Unilocal reviews prior to eating here. I typically don’t like to leave negative reviews but hopefully the next customer will check this before they try anglers. The reviews are very accurate. You pay(and tip) using an iPad before you even get any food or service. Both my wife and I ordered the burger. Neither burger came with the condiments we had asked for and we were missing a side. We tried flagging the servers twice via the iPad to no avail. By the time I flagged them down physically it was too late to get the sauces we requested for the burger; however, we did request a refill on our soda and asked about the six dollar side of fries which I requested a refund for since we had to leave. They were very insistent on giving me the fries togo. Worst of all the 9 dollar burger was dry, the bread tasted cheap, and I have had many one dollar burgers from McDonald’s that tasted better. Yes that bad. The worst thing about it is. This place will continue to have bad service and crappy food due to its airport location. I hope that a manager there reads this and takes steps to make the experience just a little better.

Another customer complained about the amount of fries. The server walked away and said«Jesus Christ» loudly. It was one of the most unprofessional things I’ve ever seen a server do.
