Burritos the size of your forearm. Refried beans almost as good as my mamacita. I tell people, drive north on Indy til you see Zel’s, it’s across the street on the corner.

Small family-​owned restaurant. Service was great! Guy taking our order was friendly and gave us free homemade chips and salsa while we waited. Ordered steak nachos for $ 6. Guacamole was a little extra. I thought the price was great for the amount and quality of food. The salsa is excellent. I will definitely return and they’re open late.

Open 24 hours I think, that makes it perfect coming back from the city late and needing food! I’ve eaten here several times, I know reviewers say it is bland but I didn’t think it was. I can tell you that the food doesn’t have much salt and most places do salt their food as it brings out flavor. Food was not that expensive and the waitresses are always friendly. I have been here early in the day as well, the customers are more normal and it’s not as fun. Late night brings out the characters!

This place blows BIG dick, just keep on driving and a couple blocks down is Los Comales. The food has no flavor and no matter what you get and they have the nerve to make it pricey. The only good thing about this place is it never closes and if you go in there late at night for get about it. There’s always some loud mouth jerk telling his lame story threw out the whole restuarant.

Hello, FOOD SNOB here.
Been going here for lunch mostly for about the last 10 years. Never thuoght about reviewing it until now. This place is always a nostalgic place for me since I grew up 2 blocks away.
The food seems a little rich for my taste. But I limit myself here. I usualy get the TORTA MILENEZA (breaded steak sandwich.) They have a couple other steak sandwiches but they are a little greasey.
The complimentary chips and salsa are good. They are homemade. The other two things are the steak fajitas and the MOST OF ALL the CHICKEN SOUP withi ts big chunks of chicken. The Carne Asada is OK but the meat just is not top Quality.

This place is a 24 hour restaurant. I’ve been here several times over the years, but this is first Unilocal review. The heuvos rancheros I had recently was disappointing and wasn’t the greatest as the steak used in it was on tough side. I’ve up the rating to 3 stars based more on my past experience here and this being a first review for the benefit of others. I think this place can be quite good, and it’s a matter of ordering the right entrée per your liking. The clientele I’ve seen is almost always 100% Hispanic, and that’s a good sign.
