Very incompetent customer service. I made an appointment online and received an email confirming my appointment. Two hours before my appointment I received a call from them telling me that I was going to have to wait because they were backed up. I asked if I should come in 15 min or half hour later. They told me no! Your appointment is for 2:00pm and need to be there at that time but be prepared to wait. I agreed being that I was having issues with me eyes. 10 minutes later I received a call from them saying that booking appointments online was unreliable and my appointment was being cancelled. I explained to them that I already spoke to someone that confirmed my appointment, She hung up on me. Then to top it off I got a third call asking if I would be in. I explained what happened and she said, Oh. I told them to call me back once they figured out what was going on. I never heard back from them. Terrible Customer Service!!!

Loved everything about this place. The doctor was very thorough and had great bedside manner. Each and every staff member was friendlier than the last. They all gave me opinions when selecting my glasses, and were super knowledgeable in explaining all my lens options. Manny was my salesman and he really took his time to go over my insurance vs. the store promotion to see what would work out better for me. Would def recommend Pearle Vision in East Brunswick to my friends and family. Will be going back for sure!

Can’t even imagine a more positive experience than the one I had the joy of… experiencing(ha;)…this afternoon. Entire staff is super knowledgeable and SUPER friendly. Amazing environment they’ve cultivated in there. Look forward to going back for the fitting :) (my first time on Unilocal,btw!)

I’ve been going to Pearl Vision for years. They had a location on Rte 18 and had moved to another location on 18 which unfortunately died as it was 2 stores open in that strip mall. So I went to other eye doctors and got glasses elsewhere at a few other places. 1 was ok but the doctor was very impatient with me, the second, the doctor was nice but needed to replace the glasses multiple time on progressives, he never got it right. So I saw they finally opened another location on 18 by Mid State Mall, they took my VSP insurance. My appointment was 4:30, filled out paperwork, the girl took me into a room for preliminary pictures and took my prescription. The doctor came in and gave me the exam, he was very pleasant. I wasn’t nuts about the selection and chose to keep my frames, they complimented them and were very helpful with helping me pick the options. Prices were on par with what I have paid for the last few pairs of glasses. My glasses will be ready in 10 days and I will post my findings when they arrive. Overall though, I was happy with the experience.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone the customer service was horrible ripped off by the high prices. I had the first appointment of the day 10am. Yet I was still not seen by the doctor until after 10:30. He was rude and shortin tone especially after I refused to retina test that costs more and not covered by insurance. He moved the viewer so fast that you couldn’t even tell what looked better. After the appointment, they tried to tell me if I just wanted new lenses it you be over $ 275 with insurance. Yet I found a place for less that didn’t take it. The poor customer service

Made a Saturday appointment online with ease, and many options of times to choose from. It was my first time at PV and it was exceptional. Once I filled out paperwork, one of the front desk ladies performed a few of the eye tests. I waited shortly for the optometrist, and he went go over my glasses/contacts history. He proceeded to find the best prescription for me, and respected that I was only in the market for glasses for he visit. Afterwards, I had the opportunity to pick out frames. Their selection was pretty good, although I wish they had a wider selection to choose from. I narrowed it down to 2 pairs, and the woman assisting me with the payment was very patient and gave me different package options. My experience at PV was overall wonderful — the staff was very kind, thorough, and listened to my needs.

Patrick is absolutely phenomenal. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted to exchange a pair that one of their mediocre salesmen sold me, and it was no problem. Patrick sat with me, understood what I wanted, gave me a short history lesson, and I walked out with a better pair of frames.

They are overpriced and make their own rules especially if you are using your insurance. Instead go to the Iselin location because they are a corporate location. I was also told how I can’t buy RX sunglasses under my insurance because they are considered cosmetic even though I had a prescription with me.

The staff is #1. Licensed opticians and apprentice opticians trust me they know their stuff. As a student of ophthalmic science myself they didn’t try to BS me at all. Straight shooters prices reasonable. The doctors staff was incredible! They were so pleasant, just like the doctor himself. I would not only recommend this store but I’ll certainly be back for anything I need optically.
