Lucy and Company

I needed a cleaning service for my home. I called couple of well known services like
etc and they were too expensive for my budget. Then I found Lucy. It was Wednesday and she agreed to come that late afternoon to give an estimate. It was reasonable. But I needed the cleaning on Friday as we were having a party on Saturday. They managed to fit me in for Friday. 4 Ladies came on time and They cleaned my house from top to bottom. And I can say they did a good job and I would recommend them.

After waiting almost an hour and half (with no phone calls, explanations or apologies) 3 maids finally arrived. They asked for stronger cleaning supplies than what they had brought with them and rolls of paper towels (we were not told about this ahead of time). The «cleaning» they did was superficial, going over the same few easy top surfaces over and over w/​out wiping down sides or moving anything off the counters to get underneath/​behind. The vacuuming and sweeping left the corners untouched (including a large dust bunny and cobwebs that were very visible) and missed so many spots I had to redo most of the floors myself after they left. Working with 3 maids was difficult as it was hard to keep track of what they were doing. At one point, 35 minutes after they had arrived, they got a phone call; I’m guessing they were late being reminded they were late for their next appt as they suddenly packed up and left without even finishing the job. Diego did not return my calls or offer any apology/​reimbursement. Wasted money — I do not recommend.
