Bellissimo Cafe & Pizza

Good food bacon cheeseburgers were great the gyros were good the bacon ranch chicken salad was also good the order arrived hot and ordering was easy and quick always order from here haven’t tried the pizza yet

I was here on Monday I got a simple shrimp salad which was decent they gave me more the usual 6 shrimp but lacked flavor, it was supposed to be cajun but it wasn’t…They gave me United airlines utensils I was so confused! They were miniature utensils too so it was difficult to cut the shrimp! Not out of this world but what I will say is the buffalo chicken pizza is AMAZING! Also we got two orders of the healthy chicken bruschetta, wish I took a picture of that — big quantity and very tasty and healthy! Where in the world did you obtain these United utensils??? Lol I’m still laughing but honestly I was in one of my offices yesterday and the moment they took out the United utensils I knew… I knew Bellissimo has been here!

I am so not surprised at the terrible reviews already. They are not accommodating to customers at all. They are rude on the phone and unable to take a simple order. They will make stuff up to make you order more. Guess what… that is not the way to get more money into your business. The key to business is excellent customer service and repeat customers. They’ve already lost my business and as a result they won’t be getting business from people at my job either. Funny how that works, eh? :)

The owner is awful, he comes off nice but he refuses to accommodate to customers wants, he randomly overcharges people and refuses to make more garlic knots if the customer wants it, he lies and says they only offer 2 garlic knots if there isn’t 5 to heat up. He treats his employees very badly and inappropriately. Constantly say they HATE AMERICANS. Work space is dirty and there have been bugs found in the drinks. overall terrible experience. I know someone who worked there who came home very upset everyday because of how they treated him!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!

The pizza is not terrible. It’s just nothing to write home about. The crust is off, I can’t put my finger on why it tastes off, and it’s not crisp at all, kind of chewy. Both times I got pizza from them I took it home and put it on the stove. The extra toppings are ENTIRELY too expensive. I wasn’t impressed. I have had some pretty phenomenal pizza and this pizza leaves much to be desired.

Used to have absolutely dreadful pizza now it has gotten better but they still always mess up orders take too long and suck at delivering so it’s not worth going here

I came here a few times to try some food.
I bought a large plain cheese pizza one time. a whole pie. pretty good and nicely done. The pizza was ok. not the best but could use some improvement. plus, the oil was a little too much. only good thing was the plentiful amount of cheese on it.

I have ordered from Bellissimo a couple times hoping for better food and service; sadly I’ve been disappointed each time. The first time I ordered the coconut shrimp with a side of French fries. The shrimp came with a burned coat of coconut yet the shrimp were slimy and undercooked and the French fries were chewy and bland. The second time I ordered the chicken dish topped with shrimp and a creamy garlic sauce. The taste was not bad, the portion was large enough for three meals. However, the amount of sauce left the food drenched. This final time I ordered a simple appetizer of stuffed mushrooms and French fries. This order was the final time I will ever order food from Bellissimo again. First, like always the food took and hour and 45 minutes to arrive. Secondly, the mushrooms came floating in oil and melted butter. This is no exaggeration they were literally floating underneath the oil, the french fries were old and stale and like ALWAYS, they forgot the side sauces I ordered. The part that completely turned me off is that 3 minutes after the delivery guy left and I opened the good I immediately called Bellissimo and asked to speak with a manager. I was placed on the phone with a man who seemed unconcerned with the fact that the order took an hour and 45 minutes to come and that the food was completely unedible and disgusting. I never send food back or complain but this was just foul. I asked for my money back and the food to be picked back up. I had to fight with the man on the phone just to get an idea as to when the delivery guy would be back. After waiting another hour and a half for my money to be returned I called again and asked to speak to the manager, this is when I found out no manager was working and was placed back on the phone with the previous man who pretended to be the manager. Again I asked where the delivery guy was and he told me I should just wait until tomorrow. I’m sure that was a way to just get me off the phone and leave me stuck with the food so he did not have to deal with it. I told him I would call tomorrow to speak with the manager and he stated he «didn’t care». Finally, at 10:45 pm I got a knock on the door and my money was returned and even the delivery guy looked at the food in disgust. The fact that they would ever let something leave looking like that is sad. There are much better places to order from in east brunswick

I order from Bellisimo because it’s cheap and quick delivery. Majority of the time the delivery is wrong. I order a side or sauce and they forget to deliver. Most of the time I will call to notify and they will bring back what’s missing. Food is not amazing.

Best around! Staff is amazing and the pizza is top notch. Look for some of the specialty dishes too, they’re always enjoyable. Delivery is fast and they do catering as well.

The food is always good and the people are super nice there!!! My husband also loves them!!!

This place sucks!!! The woman who answered the phone and took my order was an idiot. (I asked for tiramisu and she told me they didn’t have it, but they had chicken noodle), delivery took forever, half the cheese had slid off the pizza, and it was just bad! The crust tasted like wonder bread!

This place sucks. Compared to Brothers and Mancini Pizza, their crust is so bland and their garlic knots are awful. They have a huge selection, but they need a new recipe for their pizza.

Joe’s Bellissimo Café & Pizza makes good food, and consistently as well. I have tried all of their panini’s (good portions, fresh ingredients). Their fries are SO GOOD (extra-​fried with that extra-​crispy outer goodness). And the only pizza of theirs I have tried is the Margherita, but it is outstanding. Thick, flavorful, and square (I think you can ask for round if you’d like but the square gives you more). Absolutely delicious.

I never ate at this place when this was American Pie. I decided to try this place the other day, and got a Margherita and a pepperoni pizza. The crust is nice and crispy and the portions generous. The owner Joe is a very nice and friendly guy. They also have a couple of TVs so you can watch a game while enjoying a slice of pizza. They also sell Pierogies and Gyros, so a little more variety than most pizza places.
