I’ve been going to First class for about a year now. I like everything about it. Prices are very affordable. Location is great. One block away from Maverick Station (Blue Line) Cleanliness of the place. I love the lady that does my hair. Her name is Adriana. I highly recommend this place!

First Class Salon is fantastic. So glad I found this gem in Eastie.
Maggie and her team are extremely accommodating to their clients.
I am also a big pain in the ass about getting my color done and my haircut, well, almost anything really. But Maggie always does such a great job. Hair, makeup, you name it!

Great place to get your hair color. Reasonable price. I am usually picky about my hair being colored. I finally found a great spot and its close by my area. Love my hair. I didnt post any pic yet. But my hair color is bright red… my color stylist is name sarah. she doesnt speak good english but I had the owner maggie translate cause she speak good english. Sarah is the color expert. i recommend going to her. No bleach at all just to get red. she uses red powder to lift the red out from my black hair. I had so many compliment about my hair. I gave a 4 star almost 5 because it took longer than i thought but sarah wanted to make sure its perfect. Well this place is recommended!!!

Maggie was absolutely AMAZING! She just cares SO much about her clientele, and really went far above and beyond anything I could have asked for. I went in for a blow out, but ended up also getting my brows waxed and a full makeover. She is a woman so excited about her art, and as another female entrepreneur I can get how much that takes.
Thank you so much Maggie, I felt so beautiful at the wedding!

I know Maggie forever she has been my hair dresser for few years now, every time I have asked for a color it is always done how I want it, although I actually said I need a change then she makes the suggestions and I always love them and is done, I also get my pedicure and manicure, it feels great to be able to talk to the girl and ask for what you want not like going to a regular nail salon. For special occasions she gets my make up done and believe me I look and feel like a queen, she also has a very friendly staff. Make an appointment you will love it!

I have been going to Maggie for about a year now I am very particular when it comes to my hair. Every time I have asked for a specific cut or color it is always done the exact way I want it. The staff is very friendly and everything is very clean! Did I also mention my blow dry lasts over a week? Seriously I love Maggie and the wonders she does with my hair. Make an appointment you will not regret it!

Maggie and one of her lovely girls did my makeup along with 6 other girls’ and my mom’s makeup for my wedding. They did such a fantastic job! It was absolutely gorgeous and all of the girls loved it. When she did my makeup I almost cried! It was exactly what I wanted– not too overwhelming and fake looking but still fresh-​faced, vibrant and fun!

Just came here today on an impulse as they were one of the only salons open. I usually go to Marlene’s on Chelsea street but they were closed for the holiday. I wanted to get a color and cut. Since it was a holiday there was only one stylist working, and was worried that I would have to wait long. I did, as she was doing my hair and another customer’s hair at the same time. I didn’t mind as it was a holiday and no other salons were really open and I just wanted to get my hair cut and colored, I didn’t want to have to come in on the weekend. My stylist listened to what I wanted, and made some suggestions and I am in love with my haircut. It was a big change as I’ve always had long hair and I got a very short haircut. I am so glad I came here on an impulse and would definitely come back.

Moving from Manhattan, i was looking for a good hair salon to satisfy my basic hair needs for cut and blowdry. This salon seemed the best looking in the area so i came in for cut and blowdry. The personnel was very pleasant, BUT after my cut (very simply 1 inch dry ends cut, (cannot make it bad) my master Olehandra could not do a simple waves with round brush on my hair. I was told «may be not on your hair». Wait, i have long blonde hair that were easily blowdried in curls so many times in my life in all salons!!! Why would you hire somebody not able to make a simply blowdry… And i did not even hear any apology. Very dissatisfied. Will have to find another salon where the stylists are able to do their job. 2 stars because at least prices for services are good.
