If you are most concerned with the quality of the services that you are receiving, this is the place to go. Seasoned spa and medi-spa goers will appreciate the experience of the staff and quality of the products. It is also nice to get medi-spa services in a more relaxed spa setting. Medi-spas often feel like doctors offices. I have had many, many peels in both spas and medi-spas and the peels that I have received here are the best and most effective by far. Services are tailored to your skin type, not one size fits all. I have also had numerous microdermabrasion sessions here which have done wonders for my hyper-pigmentation. I actually began going to this spa because I have a friend that drives 30 minutes to get her manicures done here, even though there are numerous nail salons that are much closer. She felt the difference was that significant. Always smells amazing inside and I feel relaxed as soon as I walk in because of the atmosphere and staff. Refreshments are always available while you wait in their quiet and cozy waiting room. Top notch.

Conveniently located in East Aurora and more affordable than other area spas, but unfortunately the old maxim that you get what you pay for holds true here. I had a gel manicure and a massage done by the same person, which probably tells you something. The gel manicure looks awful — I can paint my own nails with more skill. Some nails are lumpy and uneven and on others the polish doesn’t even come all the way to the tip of the nail. I didn’t notice it until I got out into the sunlight or I’d have asked for them to be redone, but I don’t really want to go back. The massage itself was just OK, but there was no discussion of what would be used(typically a scented oil of your choice, in my experience) and the massage therapist employed some kind of lotion that smelled cheaply and VERY strongly of fruit. Very cloying and the opposite of pampering or relaxing. I ended up going home and showering to get it off ASAP. The spa itself is rather odd. It is clearly a converted office building. The massage rooms are separated by yellow cubicle walls and there are fluorescent lights on the ceiling(not in use, thankfully.) No one else was there during my visit, but I can’t imagine relaxing if one of the other stalls had been in use. It is nicely decorated, but it was obviously done on a tight budget. The reception area looks and feels like a doctor’s office with slightly better furniture, and this is where you sit to wait for your appointment. No fluffy robes or cucumber water here! To be fair, it seems like the right intentions are there and the staff I encountered were friendly. If there were other reviews on Unilocal,I probably wouldn’t post one as it is not my intention to bash them. But as a consumer I want a better experience for my money, so I cannot recommend it to others.
