Great experience here. We had steak fajitas, which were delicious! The 16oz margarita was on special for $ 3.99 (Monday), and it was one of the best I’ve had. Certainly the best for the price. The staff was very friendly, helpful and fast. The ambiance was great– not too fussy but had that Mexican feel. Really enjoyed it. Will definitely come again!

Casa Romero has the best Mexican food around, hands down. Not only that, the staff is fast and friendly. We feel like family every time we’re there. We always have our birthday or anniversary celebrations at Casa Romero. The food is excellent and the environment always friendly.
The margaritas are a must. Be sure to ask for «Texas» style. You will not be disappointed (but make sure you have a DD.)
Ask for the cheese dipping sauce when you order your drinks. It is amazing! Get some guac too if you’re a fan.
I love the fajitas. They come in Steak, Shrimp, Chicken or combo. They come with onions, tomatoes, and green peppers, but they are happy to add extra or take out any veggies. And I cover mine in their cheese sauce. Delicious!
The kids love their cheese quesadilla and of course there are always chicken strips and fries or pizza if they aren’t feeling the Mexican vibe.
My fiancé’ loves the Steak and Shrimp. He also gets the Queso Fundido as an appetizer sometimes. It’s cheese sauce and Chorizo (Mexican sausage) on a skillet. They will give you tortillas, but we eat ours with the chips.
Go and tell Alberto, Juan, Karo, and Pedro that Heather sent you. You will not be disappointed.

1^st time here but it will not be my last!!! This has to be East Alton’s gem of a restaurant. The lunch menu is affordable and you get plenty for the price!!!
I got the Nachos Fajitas and it was Delicious!!! No complaints, perfect sized meal!!! I was filled up and didn’t feel bloated or gaseous.
The service was impeccable drinks refilled quickly and promptly. The ambience is more of an adult flavor which I prefer. the waiter was very attentive and the food came up fast and hot!!!
I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable Mexican lunch during your break!

The best Mexican food in Madison county! Their margaritas are better than anywhere else. I love their shrimp fajitas.

Good and friendly service! Delicious flan and chips and salsa. I had the chimichanga. It wasn’t bad but had better. I will be back to try other stuff! Oh and the margaritas are cheap and strong!

I used to absolutely love this place but something had changed. The last few times we’ve gone the food had been bland and we as regulars have been disappointed for sure. The service is still extremely fast and always friendly, My husband and I just can’t put our finger on what has changed. We keep trying hoping for the old quality but it just hasn’t happened.

The service is friendly and fast. The food was fast Mexican food fast.
Our beers and margaritas were ice cold. I’m fond on traditional margaritas, but my cousin had a mango one that was fantastic.
She also, had the best entrée which was grilled shrimp and fresh vegetables (forget the name on the menu).
Atmosphere, drinks, good customer service and above average Mexican food make this a good place for an inexpensive meal.
