Used to be a great place to go but they changed the sausage to a cheaper and less tastier brand. Now I go elsewhere to get to pizza I used to get there. See ya Smokey… No sale.

THE classic place to eat in Eagle. Good Pizza, GREAT garlic bread, good spaghetti. Always busy so arrive early. When I get back to Eagle I always try to drop by. It’s right on the main corner of Eagle. It has a very traditional feel to it, and the food is much better than you think it will be when you walk in the door.

Food is pretty go but the service and timeliness of the food is not acceptable. Either you need to staff better or find a new manager because the amount of time spent waiting on food is absolutely not right

Heard good things from other people, so we gave them a try. Mediocre service, food took a long time, ordered various menu items(pizza, kids meals, salad, and a burger) which were all just okay, and felt like we were sitting in a Dairy ad — the server kept offering to add cheese or extra cheese, and the kids coloring books they passed out were all about happy cheese and dairy cows… LOL and the items we ordered with NO cheese(allergy :-/) came out with cheese. I promise it wasn’t even close to Dairy Days :) I know, it’s pizza, so yes, cheese, but this was cheese bombardment that would have been a weird vibe even if some in our party weren’t trying to avoid dairy. There are so many better pizza places in Treasure Valley, this wouldn’t even be in my top five. *** Follow up: Was nicely pm’d by the manager at this location, apologizing that we didn’t have a good experience. He explained that they try to buy local(that’s awesome) and that they partner with dairies. * I thought that others would like to know the local ties.

Last night was our 3rd and last time going here. Service was slow and rude. Place smelled like a stale bar; needs a good cleaning. Overpriced! Very very average pizza! Dominos is much better; if that’s saying anything. Business owners really are lacking in customer service these days! You would think they would read Unilocal reviews and improve their establishments. Very few do! It shows they just don’t care. They hardly ever try to make things right. The attitude is, there will always be another customer tomorrow. Just think how successful you could be if every customer left happy! What a concept!

After leaving Fairview location due to horrible service. We thought we’d drive here. Well, they sat us(including my pregnant wife) right next to the kitchen. It was extremely hot and we decided to eat outside(not even offered to sit at a booth near A/C towards front) Upon delivery of food. Server put EXTREMELYHOTPLATE down right in front of my toddler. Of course she reached for it and grabbed it before I could pull her away. She had a blister on her index finger and thumb.(Almost lawsuit bad, but didn’t want to get lawyer involved — better to just leave and never return) With this kind of incompetence, bad service and no clue as to «don’t put HOTPLATES» where a toddler can reach it. My family and I will never return to ANY smoky mountain now. I don’t know who’s training or screwing up. But I’m shocked at HOWBAD the service has declined over the last year.

You can’t take chicken breast chicken bites and call them boneless wings. Wings are good because their meat is different. Soggy mushy chicken bites soaked in sauce are not what I consider good wings, bones or not.

Ok food and pizza with a basic beer selection. Decent wine choices but nothing outlandish. Very overpriced for what you get. Lunch service was slow but polite at least.

Where do I start! This has always been a good, not great, standard for us. Tonight was horrible to say the least. I ordered a cocktail, they bring me the wrong drink altogether. They didn’t offer the side to two in my party so they just bring extra fries. I ordered my food with salad. They bring me fries. Then they tell me to switch the salad for the fries I got with the person who got my salad. He’d already eaten some of it! I point this out. Nothing! Are you kidding me?! Beware!

Since leaving this review, I was contacted by a manager. He took time to understand the situation and valued my time explaining things along with clarifying the problems. Thank you, Smoky Mountain Management, for listening to your customers!

I like the new location of the Smokey Mountain in Eagle. When you walk in it is nice and welcoming. The staff is friendly and you can expect to be seated quickly. Service can be hit and miss which is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. Sometimes it can be slower than others. I like the Hearts on Fire Chicken Salad you may want to ask for light dressing or on the side. They do have a tendency to be a bit heavy handed on their salad dressings. I like their meatball sandwich and the French dip and the pastas are tasty too! It’s a great place for the family!

This place had recently moved to nice new location, where we decided to have dinner while we waited for the Eagle Fun Days festivities to start. Turned out that the quality of food over here was no different than the Boise location — just ok, nothing special. Food quality aside, the service was horrendous. The server placed us outside on the patio per our request, yet did not leave us napkins or silverware — even after we asked for some when we initially ordered drinks. I finally had to get up and ask the bartender for some. On top of that, we had to wait almost 20 minutes for the check AND for the change to return. Good thing we paid in cash… I probably would not have gotten my card back! On the other hand, this place was jam-packed because of the Fun Days, and I understand that service can take longer than anticipated. However things started clearing up halfway through our visit, and the service should have stepped up after that. It did not, and our cash tip reflected that.

Driving back home to Cali we needed a pizza fix. The carnivore combo totally hit the spot. Mozzarella stick apps, yum. :-) The service was great. Definitely a stopping point on the way to see the family :-)

Smoky has always been a great go-to when indecisive about where to eat. Their newer Eagle location is great. The 18th Street location in Boise is a little old and beat up, but an awesome stop after a day at Bogus. Food has always been good. Not an authentic Italian joint, but good nonetheless. Pizza crust is thin yet chewy. Order a side of Alfredo for dipping your crusts in(don’t waste them). The Chicken Pesto Parmigiana is my fav. Lots of food on that plate. The house salad with their house dressing is a must have. The Insalata Napoli is great, but not much of a salad. Chicken, bacon, feta and bow tie pasta with a few tomatoes and spinach leaves mixed in. But it makes me feel good that I ordered a salad. Try the Brie Kisses for an app. Brie bites baked with a phyllo dough wrap and boysenberry jalapeño dipping sauce. Epic. There’s something on the menu for everyone, including the kids. Give them a try!

Good appetizers, fair to good pizza, good to quite good pasta. Buy the teriyaki pasta dish; its delicious, like a teriyaki infusion Alfredo sauce. Best thing on the menu. Otherwise a dependable restaurant to serve something sufficiently enjoyable while you are there.

I called at 4 this afternoon to pick up 2 pizzas at 6pm.(I made sure to call early because it’s Super Bowl Sunday.) Right at kickoff, hubby decided he wanted cheesy bread, so I called again and had that added to my order. When I arrived just before 6, my pizzas were already in the oven and almost ready for me. The bartender that helped me with my pick-up order was very friendly. I sat at the bar for a little bit, watched a few plays, and then went home with 2 piping hot pizzas and the cheesy bread. Hubby, Dad and I really enjoyed the food. Everything was hot, tasted great, and our order was exactly correct. I was amazed at the amount of artichokes on our Great White pizza — I’m definitely looking forward to leftovers. All in all, it was a home run(okay, touchdown?) on a very busy pizza day. I read on their Web site that they do free pizza/entrée on your birthday, so guess how we’ll be celebrating this year?
