Nice large camping spots not bumper to bumper like some other camp grounds. Clean grounds and bathrooms. I rated 4 stars because you no longer bring construction type lumber for burning like in past years. Lumber price is 6 small splits for $ 10

Hi Pines is your somewhat typical Northwoods camp ground, worthy of 3 – 4 stars… however, its the people that work there that make a difference.
Tell Kristen I said «Hi» when you go.
There are wooded spots, open field spots, there’s a swimming pond, fire pits, electrical spots, water spots, rv spots, the whole nine yards. I doubt that anyone either in a tent or RV would want for anything here.
You can walk to several different resto’s from Hi Pines, as well as a gas station with basic supplies and fishing stuff.
I will definitely be back and recommend it.
