I’m afraid to say that just like most folks, this place is a must-stop for me! Sure, it has it’s hits and misses throughout all my visits, but for the most part it is consistently good. Tenders are usually super juicy white meat, the gravy is to die for, and that cheap bread even adds to the experience.Lol. Let’s not forget the perfectly seasoned gizzards; AMAZING! I love you, Rodee’s. Please consider adding another location! Beware of the drive-thru. The line can get outrageous.

Everytime I come home from North Carolina, this is the first place I come too. I’m born and raised in EP and it’s nice to see how far this restaurant has come. But come on roodes! Make the move! You know it’s time to start delivery! But all in all, chicken tenders and their fries are outstanding, fried chicken is my fav! This place by far takes the trophy. Only thing I got to say is, train your staff better, some don’t even say how may I help you, others don’t say thank you, another didn’t even know how to charge me. And that’s another thing, every time I come by, I’m charged a different amount, and I ORDERTHESAMETHINGEVERYTIME!!! But I’m loyal to my chicken so I’ll keep coming by! Great food nonetheless

An Eagle Pass staple! If you’re driving through Eagle Pass or just visiting and are looking for a casual place to eat, this is your spot. The gizzards and chicken tenders are well-known and delicious. You can’t go wrong with it. Be aware of the wait though since it is a busy place.

5 pc tenders and small gizzards. Too bad it took 30 minutes for a to-go order. If you want to wait a long time for average food Rodee is the place for you. By the way the secret gizzard sauce is plain hot sauce.

This is the most overrated restaurant in EP. Church’s or Popeyes is just as good, in fact it’s better than Rodees.

MUSTTRYTHEGIZZARDS! While on a work assignment out in Eagle Pass, my coworker brought gizzards and chicken to work. Man, I wish I could just head back there to pick up some gizzards! The chicken was delicious and the rolls were sweet! I definitely ate more than I should have but it was worth it.

The chicken strips are delicious! Perfectly crispy yet tender on the inside. The fries are good too and the bread rolls are really soft and sweet. It is our go to place when visiting Eagle Pass!

The fried chicken, catfish, and fried okra were all good(we have had better), but the gizzards were the best of all. The place is a little run down, but all in all, a good experience.

Try the gizzards!!! I have never eaten gizzard’s very many times, but now I’m craving Rodee’s gizzards! Not wild about lemon pepper, but on these tasty lightly floured fried morsels of goodness I can’t get enough! Definitely worth the drive to get a large box of their gizzards that I eat like popcorn! I enjoy their red dipping sauce as well.

Quick service and the chicken was good, not great. I like spicy chicken more though. I had the two piece breast special. $ 5.99, and that was a great price. Gets 4 stars for quick service, great prices and good chicken.

I love this place, I’m from Eagle Pass but living in San Antonio. I tend to make it a habit of going to Rodees to have their famous mollejas and some fried chicken. I recommend their fried chicken, but the mollejas are the best. If ever visit Eagle Pass, stop by and check it out. It’s on El Indio Hwy.

This restaurant is by far the best fried chicken restaurant in town, I’m not gonna lie but people from as far as other countries come down in the hollidays to visit family and their favorite family dinner is rodees. Rodees has been around for a very long time and will continue for a very long time until the world ends. What I have to say is that once you try rodees fried chicken, your gonna wanna eat it again and again believe me.

As a native to Eagle Pass, Tx. Im in LOVE with this place. Been here so many times when I use to live in Texas, that it will always have a spot in my heart all the way from california. My obsession here is the gizzards. Oh so juicy, fried, lemon pepper, gizzards. If i was ever pregnant in the future, please believe I would hop on a plane and go back to my hometown just to have a box of gizzards. Dont judge me.
