Omg! These tacos are awesome! Don’t look for a restaurant, this is a taco stand. They only have two things in the menu. Bistec tacos and tortas(great sandwiches) but they are worth the stop, believe me. Flour or corn tortillas, itty bitty tortillas but you get lots for your money. They have canned sodas, not fountain drinks. They are on Harold and E. Main Street. Check them out, they ‘re great. I’ll be coming back that’s for sure. Yummy!!! These folks are going to make it big!!!

We have tried many Mexican foods in the past month in Eagle Pass and our family cannot stay away from Los Tocayos Tacos… The tacos are awesome. Small beef tacos with cilantro and onions plus they give you a side package filled with grilled onions and a whole grilled jalapeño, a key lime and red and green salsas… the flavor combination is unbelievable and that jalapeño provides all the heat you could ask for… they come in six packs for $ 3.50…this little trailer despite its humble appearance is a real diamond in the rough. You don’t want to miss it.

Best Tacos I’ve had! Located next to the Taco Factory in the plaza of a car wash, sits an unassuming dimly lit food taco food truck. Visited Eagle Pass on business and since nobody Unilocal around here, had to go on a food adventure on my own. I’ve heard that the dozens of mexican restaurants have been mediocre at best in the area and figured taco trucks are as authentic as you can get around here without crossing the border, 10 minutes away! These mini-two-bite tacos are exactly what i was looking for! I can barely speak spanish and the guy running the truck no speak english, so ordering was an adventure in it’s self. So here we were: a blond girl, Chinese girl, Muslim girl, and a Filipino guy walk out of a mini-van and go up to order…(sounds like a start of a terrible joke). Thanks to the lady who ordered first, the two years of Spanish in high school, and the years hanging out withmy Puerto Rican friends in high school and college, I was able to figure out that they only had steak tacos that night and they came in six. Good thing they had carne asada tonight(steak)… my favorite! Topped with fresh cilantro and onions and possibly hand made flour or corn tortillas! Came two little packets of green tomatillo salsa and a red one, both very tasty. I like the green one more. Six is a great snack… get two orders for a good meal! Told a couple of my other associates, and they all reported back similar enjoyable experiences. «I can go back and eat another 16!» Sadly, he can’t cause it only comes in orders of 6! :) I’ve been to other taco trucks and mexican restaurants all over the country and these have been one of the best! It might be because they were tiny and adorable, it might be because ordering them was a mission, it might be because I was also drinking margaritas… but man were they good! I will definitely come back here when I am in town again for business!
