We are from the south and love this restaurant. The Wild Rice Soup was excellent. We both had the Wood Fire Pork Chop and it was also good. We will opt to dine on the patio next visit. Very nice décor.

We’ve always had a great experience at Doolittles. Service is always on point, and the food never fails to impress. It’s a standout compared to all the other spots south of the river. Great for family with kids.

I’ve eaten here twice for lunch and both visits were a good experience. Good food and service, and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was open, yet not loud. Abundant and cool aviation painting and décor. Only complaint is that it’s starting to show some wear and tear such as cracked booth cushions.

Very good food. Apalling service. I recently hosted a dinner there for 17 people. The food was terrific, but the service was terrible. Simple orders for a few beers and glasses of wine would take 2o minutes. After we ate and even after we paid no attempt was made to clear the table of dirty dishes out of the way, leaving the table a mess while we were still enjoying some conversation. This was a Sunday evening — the restaurant was not packed. I’m very disappointed.

Amazingly delicious. Get the artichoke dip, it’s the best I’ve had and comes with toasted bread not chips. Their burgers are SO good. Forgot what it’s called, but i had a jerk pork sandwhich with a pinneapple type salsa and I’d eat it everyday! Will definetly come here whenever I venture clear over to Eagan, probably just for this place!

One of my favorite restaurants in the burbs. Nice variety on the menu. I always find a beer or wine I like. I LOVE the wings. The wings alone are worth the trip. I’ve never had anything like them anywhere else. Service is good, too!

Doolittle’s Woodfire Grill is probably our favorite restaurant in the area. The food has always been consistently excellent. This is not my 1st review of this place as I like to try new things and last night we shared the spit roasted chicken. Oh so tender. We had the raspberry and fresh pear salad with the raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Great flavors paired well. Then a cup of the Tuscany tomato/basil soup. So tasty. Our waiter, Brandon, was quite attentive to our needs even as busy as they were. I highly recommend Doolittle’s for a great date night place! I also would recommend reservations or at least call ahead. Looking forward to our next visit and trying something new. P. S. They also have a very nice wine list.

One of my favorites to dine with out of town parents and grand parents. The décor is cool with antique airplanes and the food is really good!

I came here for a work lunch and thought it was a great spot to go out in Eagan. The place is really nice inside and has an upscale-type feel to it. My party of three was seated immediately at big booth in the back room and helped right away. I ordered the Gaucho burger, which had guacamole, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle aioli. Even though it was right over lunchtime it didn’t take long for our food to arrive. I really liked how the serving size wasn’t outrageously big. The burger was a good size and there was a decent serving of fries with it. The burger was really good! It was cooked well and all the ingredients made it really juicy and fresh. I enjoyed my experience here and would recommend when in the area. It also seemed to have plenty of seating so it would be good for a bigger group.

This is certainly the place to go if you like BBQ chicken. Cooked to perfection which is not always easy to do on a BBQ! The service was good and the place was welcoming. You would think the place is dress casual but looking around the dining room we felt under dressed in shorts and t-shirts. A bit on the spendee side for chicken but the quality made it worth the price. The wait was short and it was interesting to see the wood fired rotisserie in operation. I was a little concerned that it was open to everyone who walked by… Fries and other sandwiches were top notch as well.

I would highly recommend this place, I love having dinner here with my family. Servers are amazing and service is awesome. I loved the food. The Cajun Pasta was to die for. My most favorite is the calamari. Not everyone fries it best but this was amazing.

This review is solely based on the food I got to go… twice in two days. The Parmesan artichoke dip is DELICIOUS!!! And they serve it with bread so that’s even better. I got it to go one night and it was so good that I ordered it for lunch the next day. The buffalo wings are good… seasoned very well! They are grilled which is not my cup of tea with buffalo wings but they were still good. If I’m ever back in Minneapolis I’m definitely coming back!

Stopped here because we saw it as we drove by and was starving! So glad we did. Butternut squash soup? Um yes please! So good. Calamari was just right with a great dipping sauce. My husband had steak, cooked perfectly and the green beans had a spicy kick to them. I chose the salmon with new potatoes, spinach and asparagus. Really tasty. There was a vinegar glaze that really worked with the dish. Waitress was very attentive and atmosphere was comfortable.

Really great place! Excellent atmosphere and layout. The rotisserie is up front as you walk in and sets the tone. The food was really great. We had the wings for an app. They were huge and very good. For dinner my wife had the rotisserie and said it was the best chicken she has had. I had pork tenderloin and again, fantastic, and an original type dish. The glaze was outstanding and the middle mix with sweet potato, black bean, and corn was perfect. The food was the best we have had in a while. Our server Courtney was very good. The service could not have been better. Overall, a great dinner stop. We will go back.

Was recommended to come here by a friend who said that Doolittles had the«best wings in town.» The setting was nice(had a romantic vibe, good for a date night!) and the service was prompt. We were sat at a table almost immediately and our food came out quick — which was great because we were starving! I came here with my mom and we ordered appetizers to share and an entrée each. Got the Crispy Calamari and Woodfire Buffalo Wings to start. I ordered the Top Sirloin and my mom got the Ginger-Glazed Australian Sea Bass. The crispy calamari was good but in my opinion lacked flavor. It wasn’t overly salty like most calamari I’ve tried, so that was appreciated. The wings were what I was looking forward to the most but honestly, it was okay at best. Flavorful but I was expecting more(apparently I was supposed to order them«extra spicy» but didn’t know that was an option at the time). My mom thoroughly enjoyed her dinner, safe to say she had no problem licking her plate clean(5⁄5). I’d give my own entrée a 3 out of 5. I ordered the steak cooked medium but I thought it was more medium rare. The sides which included green beans and potatoes, were TODIEFOR. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d probably come back… for those potatoes: P

I’ve had really good food here before but my last visit was just okay. Service was good overall, she was nice. The food was just underwhelming. There was nothing special about it. She said there was half price apps for happy hour, so we got steak skewers and ceviche. The ceviche was not very good and we ended up sending it back and they took it off the bill, no questions asked, which was great. The steak was boring and underseasoned and fatty. I ended up ordering a thai salad as a replacement and it was decent– lots of veggies, the sauce was good, and the chicken was good, there just wasn’t much chicken on it. The shots were generous though. Overall I do like this place, I just don’t love it.

This place is famous for the large wood fire rotisserie that they cook their chicken on. Delicious! I have been here several times and this place is always top notch. They have great food and outstanding service. They give you fresh bread and butter which is a nice touch. I got a wet washcloth to clean my hands with because I ate my chicken like a caveman. I am not sure that is normal or just for the finger lickin’ chicken people. The last visit the other day, I had Tiffany, a bar tender, because I sat at the bar. :) She was always on top of things, keeping my drink re-filled, very friendly and polite. She even boxed up my leftover goodies for me to take home with me. I did notice that the menu on here is a bit outdated. The Buffalo wings that I had for lunch were $ 10.95 and that is $ 1 higher than the menu price listed. I did take a photo of the menu if that helps you. This place is a bit more expensive than your run-of-the-mill places but the food and service are worth it. I forgot to mention that the place is clean and up-kept with nice plane-themed décor. Check this place out for a special occasion, a good meal or to impress that special someone.
