Duxbury Rite Aid is one of the most helpful and friendly stores you’ll ever find in today’s overburdeaned world of pharmacies. No long lines or messed up prescription orders! The manager remembers your name if you become a regular and at the pharmacy you’re welcomed with a smile. Well stocked and great weekly sales plus easy parking.

Blatant misinformation!
I called this Rite Aid because it has a «My Clinic,» expecting there to be a medical professional on staff. As it happens, there is only 1) a pharmacist who can give shots and 2) a computer that connects to a medical professional elsewhere. In other words, «My Clinic» is NOT a clinic.
To make matters worse, I called in advance and asked, «Are you able to bill medically» (as opposed to billing as a pharmacy, which is not covered under my Blue Cross Blue Shield). The woman on the other end of the phone said, «Yes, we bill medically.»
I drove 30 minutes to arrive in Duxbury, filled out forms and waited nearly an hour before being told that the vaccination I wanted wasn’t covered under my insurance. Only then was I told that they are not able to bill «medically,» but only as a pharmacy.
Adding insult to injury, I was offered no apology and no, «I’m sorry. We’ll make sure our staff is better informed in the future.»
I can’t speak for their other services as a pharmacy, but this experience of bad (and utterly avoidable) mis-​service — without any evident remorse on their part — is enough to prevent me from ever trying them for anything else.
