I have to agree with the only other review this place has. This store is like the Island of toy misfits !!! I When entering I anticipated hearing creepy music and a broken Jack-in-the box staring at me. However I was pleasantly surprised with the smörgåsbord of stuff this place has. There really is a lot of unwanted junk… But they had a great selection of cheap toys(last min shoppers look no further!), pet stuff in the back, cookware, linens, candles, garden décor(I’ll be back for you angel that measures water… I will). There’s so much more that I didn’t stay and look at. I spent $ 20 on 3 Coca cola antique«looking» dishes for my Dad, and I got a book and puzzle for my niece and nephew. Pretty good deal. They are doing a 40% off sale on clearance stuff too. I felt like some of the junk– like frames … Looked kinda crappy and were the same price you’d see them at anywhere else. That was kinda weird. Also the candles weren’t that cheap. I’d rather use a 20% off coupon for BB&B than buy their not so smell good candles for $ 10. I will be back to bling my garden though. This store is absolutely worth a trip.

As I write this, I am the Duke of Tuesday Morning, and I have to assume that my monogrammed silk pajamas will be arriving any minute now. Seriously, I can’t get over how freaking poetic that sounds. I feel like it should be the title of a Neil Gaiman short story or a Leonard Cohen song or something. Or maybe a villain from Grant Morrison’s run on Doom Patrol. Anyway… Walking into Tuesday Morning feels a little like visiting the Island of Misfit Toys. The shelves here are the end of the line for a bizarre assortment of consumer goods, presumably inventory overstock from the forgotten corners of the retail universe. While roughly organized by product type(clothes, toys, kitchen, etc), the shelves themselves are utter chaos. However, everything is heavily marked down, and if you have a little time to sift through the crap, you can find some real gems. We went there specifically to check out their toy aisle, where we found some cool wooden imports(trains, trucks and tools), an adorable little wooden stool with a helicopter carved onto the seat, and an awesome toy sea serpent from an otherwise weird-ass line of Bible action figures. We spent so long digging through the toys, that we didn’t really have time to check out any other aisles, but I did spot some La Creuset enamelware on my way to check out.
