My friend, who is a tenant, and I hosted a kids party at the clubhouse. When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, two weeks ago, at 4:45 pm to decorate for the party, we found the clubhouse locked and no one available. Luckily my friend was able to gain access to the party room, but we quickly learned that there was no way to get to the restroom without going outside and around the building. It was cold outside AND raining! When I called to complain, I was told by management that the clubhouse hours had changed which is why no on was available. However the clubhouse hours still show Saturday 10:00 — 5:00 pm as shown below on this website AND on the front of the clubhouse. Additionally, according to management access to the party room does not include indoor access to the restroom, which is ridiculous. I’ve requested that my friend get her deposit back but have not received a response from management. The lack of management response and management support is appalling and indicates a lack of concern for anyone interesting in Phillips Research Park. I suggest renters beware. Hours as shown on Unilocal as of January 28th: Sat 10:00 am — 5:00 pm

I have been a resident of Phillips for a year and a half. When I moved in I was in love with both my apartment and the complex overall. I was seeking«luxury» living and was provided that. My apartment is spacious, updated and complete open concept. Recently, management change/adjusted the parking rules. Residents are only allowed 1 – 2 guest parking passes and additional guests are required to park in «guest parking». Sounds ideal and reasonable right? There are only 20 guests spaces for a complex that holds approximately 300 or more residents. More importantly, if you wanted to have a «girls brunch» or Thanksgiving dinner or a game night with friends, if you planned on inviting more than two people, with the new parking rule this wouldn’t be able to happen. Living here and having my company monitored/policed feels worse than staying on campus in college. As a young professional, I would like to be able to enjoy my apartment completely and unfortunately I am unable to do that here.
