I chose PRG based on Unilocal reviews. It was five minutes from my hotel, but worth a longer drive if needed. While the bar area looks too civilized to be a bar where I’d normally hang out, the restaurant area was fairly loud, but comfortable. The noise level gave the place life, but it wasn’t so loud that we couldnt have a private conversation either. My burger was ordered Medium Well and was cooked to perfection. The service was fast and very good. I will definitely come back if I am in the area again.

First time here for lunch after picking someone up from the airport. Very very crowded on a weekday lunch, I was glad we made a reservation. The menu had a wide range of sandwiches and burgers, I had a BLT with romaine salad and it was very good! I normally don’t like sandwiches because the toasts scrape inside my mouth and it’s painful but their toasts were very soft so had no issue at all. Will probably come back for shrimp and grits next time.

Excellent beer selection and the brussel sprout app was excellent. The entrée, on the other hand, was terrible. The piece of brisket was over cooked and dry. The sides that came with it were nearly inedible. At no point did the waitress ask me how my food was tasting. If she did, I would have sent it back. She was managing a large group, but managing with the absolute minimal effort. If she had been more attentive, then our party of 12 would have bought many more drinks and it would have been a better night for the restaurant and her tip

After a long rainy day, I was picking up my parents at the airport after they’d had a long travel day. This place is on the way to Durham at the RTP near all the hotels. It really hit the spot! At first I was dismayed we were seated in one of the side rooms, but it was quiet enough to talk(there’s a tv but on mute) and a lush and verdant view outside … yeah it’s a drainage area for a strip mall, but it was full of birds and plants!(lots of rain this spring) Looks like an interesting cocktail menu but my dad and I just had some regular gin martinis, which were good. The food was impressive. I had a really lovely spinach salad with a great dressing and good bits of nicely cooked mushroom, hard boiled egg, and bacon in it. For my entrée, I almost thought it was a joke when I first saw it. I had ordered the brisket(which I have personally not often seen or at least not gotten in a nice restaurant compared to, say, a gas station bbq shop in Texas). It was a big square that looked like a brownie drizzled in icing! But nope, it was brisket and wow it was awesome! Very tender and juicy. All the right smells. Nice sides of sweet potato hash and grilled broccoli(well the broccoli could use something more but it was fine). Across the table my dad was astonished at the size of his pork shank because it wasn’t that expensive. My mom really loved her crab cakes and the corn and roasted peas or something that was underneath it. So, quite a success. And easy on/off I-40.

Meh. Had the crab cake platter twice before, they must have changed suppliers and cooks. Under seasoned and no longer filled with premium crab. Mostly tuna fish like texture… The place is worth a try, though, def not weekday lunch, way too packed! Honestly 2.5 star meal, but can’t give halves Good service, though!

It’s a great place if you have meetings in the RTP area and because of it’s location, it gets quite busy. It’s recommended that you make reservations, even for lunch. The food is fresh and the service is good but it’s nothing special. I keep coming back because it’s a good restaurant and the location can’t be beat.

I want to kiss the cow my ribeye came from and the chef who prepared it. This was my first time at Page Road grill and it was a great time. Came here for a staff dinner. They have a large private room in the bar that can accommodate small private parties. There were probably about 30 of us. Okay back to the food. I ordered the Prime Ribeye with twice cooked cheddar grits and Brussel sprouts. That ribeye was huge, bot sure how many ounces, but it did may for a great breakfast the next morning. The grits were cooked perfectly and were well seasoned. I’m a southern girl and I know my grits and these were great. The Brussel sprouts were great too. We also had the shrimp and corn hushpuppies which were could. I could use a bit more shrimp in them. I’m not a fan of pimento cheese but the warm pimento cheese dip that accompanies the hushpuppies is delicious. It does have a little kick to it if you’re not a fan of heat like me. Overall the food is great here and I will definitely be back!

The brisket was very good and we enjoyed the crab cakes. Three crab cakes split between us made for a nice appetizer. Prices are a bit high. Atmosphere is a bit, just a bit, on the noisy side: not so loud you couldn’t talk, but you did have to talk over the noise. The wait staff were very good and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

Nice place, good food. Had the scallops, very well done. Spicy but not too much. Drinks are pricey.

My company has gone there a couple of times, and we’ve asked whether they have vegan options. The kid at the front desk kind of snickers and say, yes they do. The problem is, it’s a lame salad. It is not really valid anymore to say that a bunch of lettuce is a vegan option. These days, I expect decent filling vegan options that include tofu, mushrooms, asparagus, beans, etc. Get with the times or don’t say you have anything reasonable for a vegan.

Ordered the pork tenderloin accompanied by cheddar grits, kale and sweet & sour onions. Food was pretty good. Service was superb, ambience was great. Pricing was fair. They accommodate gluten free well.

Stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner today. Was seated quickly. I ordered the crab cakes which were moist inside and crispy outside with not too much breading and serve with a fresh corn salsa, delicious sautéed green tomatoes and lemon aoli. I didn’t get the lemon aoili flavor but the dish was delicious. Hubby ordered the Buffalo bites and they were good sized, not excessively battered and delicious. The Buffalo taste could have been intensified but they were good. The onion rings were plentiful and crispy and served with a yummy homemade ranch. It was an expensive lunch($ 43 including tip) but delicious. I’ve heard this place gets busy at lunch but it was fine when we came. We will be back!

Very enjoyable! Arrived at 1pm and noticed most people were on their way out of the packed parking lot(always a good sign!). I sat at the bar and had a beverage within 2 minutes. Ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was out 5 minutes later! Absolutely delicious! As I finish my lunch now, the bartender just refilled my iced tea without asking. Excellent service! The couple next to me commented about how much they loved the food here on their way out. They’re not alone! Keep up the great work!

Took my sister out for a quick preshow dinner before The Book of Mormon at DPAC. We wanted to stray a little further away from downtown because we imagined the preshow dinner crowds at our usual downtown Durham spots would be insane with such a popular show. Luckily Page Road Grill was only about 15 minutes away and provided a great meal! Page Road Grill is in a very office/industrial area, surrounded by business and a few other restaurants. It took me a few minutes to find it since it was in such an unfamiliar area, but my sister spotted it and we found a parking spot with no problem! When we came in we were greeted by a very nice hostess and a mostly empty restaurant. We weren’t too off-put by it since it was only 5:30 when we arrived, though the restaurant never really filled up the entire meal! Bummer since the food was so good! People need to find this place! Both my sister and I ordered a salad, mine with shrimp($ 15) and her’s with chicken($ 14). We also split a basket of bread with honey($ 4). The portions were pretty small for the price, but the quality of the food was very good. My salad came with about six large, very fresh shrimp. The cheese and other veggies were also very fresh. The dressing was also lovely! The bread was also pretty delicious; hot and fresh. I was also a huge fan of the honey butter– so good! I would definately say check out Page Road Grill if you’re looking for a quality meal in Durham. It may not be a prime pre-show dinner spot but it should be!

I new nothing about this place except from what I read in Unilocal and honestly I was concerned. I had the opportunity to dine here with a large group made up of parents and teenagers when we were visiting the area for a soccer event. We are from Miami Florida and we brought in a group of about 35 people. I will say that it was way better than expected. We had called ahead so there was no wait time to sit down. The food was good and the service was great. Our server was able to split all the checks and get the correct food out mostly all at the same time. I would go again.

What a great gem in the RTP area. I went for lunch once and it gets slammed during the week from 1130-100. Even finding parking in their lot is super hard during this time. However, service is fast and they know to get you in and out quickly to get back to the office. Atmosphere is clean and nice-a step up from a typical bar and grill. I got a cheeseburger with PRG chips and it was delicious. I recently went with a friend for dinner one Friday evening and it was dead! I guess this place really caters to the workers in RTP, but don’t forget about it when thinking of places for dinner because we had a great experience. Our server was attentive and had great recommendations. He was also patient when we sat and chatted long after our meals were done. I opted for a seasonal berry salad with grilled shrimp. It was so good and fresh! I also got a blackberry mojito and it was very good and not too minty. For dessert I got their seasonal peach cobbler. I wasn’t super impressed as it had very little breading and had a too thick brown sugar gelatin type topping. It was just okay so I think next time is get another dessert. Overall I really like this place and will be back again.

Pulling up to PRG, I was conflicted. To see a parking lot so full(and it is a large lot), my immediate thought was that it was going to be a long wait. Then I contemplated how good the food must be. Yep, it’s good! I ordered the turkey bacon avocado. It looked great and I was happy with my choice, however, two things stood out: it needs a bit more turkey and the tomato made my bread soggy in certain spots(it was not fresh, perhaps stewed?). The spinach salad side for an additional $ 1.50 was absolutely worth it. It was delicious(and nutritious) and came with cherry tomato, egg, mushroom, and bacon. The bacon in my salad was dry and tasted like jerky but the bacon in my sandwich was normal so I am hoping that the super dry bacon was just a one-off. I concur with what I have read from other Unilocal reviews about this being a popular spot for lunches with coworkers. I even went there today with my coworkers ;). It is spacious and they have seating that can accommodate larger groups. The menu seems to cater to many preferences(burgers, sandwiches, salads). By the way, the wait ended up not being so bad, it was about 15 minutes for a table of five.

Lots of options! I had a dinner portion of mixed berry salad with mixed greens, candied walnuts, avocado and sliced veggie patty topped with a champagne vinaigrette which was filling, delicious and healthy! The staff was accommodating and friendly and my coworkers all said their food was delicious! Try this place!

Wandered in here based on local reviews since we were here on business visit. Great menu that was modern and not boring. Husband loved handcrafted beers. Ended up coming here twice since once wasn’t enough during our visit.

Though I haven’t been to every restaurant that makes up Chapel Hill Restaurant Group, 411 West is delicious, Mez is great for a quick business lunch, and Page Road Grill(PRG) is friggin’ fantastic. The grain salad is my go to dish here. Barley, quinoa, cous cous, pecans, dried cranberries, cucumbers, arugula, grated parm, cinnamon vinaigrette on the side, and a veggie patty on top. Delicious, filling, and, when I’m not feeling greedy, enough for two meals. If you’re planning on visiting Page Road Grill for a work-day lunch, reservations are highly suggested unless you don’t mind waiting. Sad but true pro-tip: To drive business, PRG used to offer half-priced bottles of NC beer on Saturday afternoons. It was awesome. Now, they don’t open until dinner-time.
