This truck stops by the Duke Chapel on Mondays for dinner. They take food points! I am a fan. Decent pricing and they give you a lot. I got the bulgogi bibimbap and it was pretty good. There is usually a long line so make sure to get there earlier at around 5pm. Will return.

Bulgogi bibimbap was really nice. It had marinated beef, 5 different veggies that changed every time, and rice. Taste really good but it cooled down very soon after you mixed it because vegetables were cold. Sides: I tried home made kimchi, which was mild spicy and the flavor was authentic. Others: ugly wings were pretty good. Although once they were overcooked, they still taste fantastic.

Time to mix it up with the Mixed Korean Truck, a food truck from the Chapel Hill restaurant Mixed Casual Korean Bistro. Of the dishes I’ve tried so far, my favorite is the bulgogi bimbambap. For $ 10, you get a solid and well-rounded meal of flavorful beef, a good amount of vegetables(bean sprouts, lettuce, spinach, zucchini) and moist rice. I’ve also tried the Bulgogi plate, which is composed of bulgogi beef, rice, and two sides; in this case, I picked homemade pickles and kimchi coleslaw. While the beef and rice were still delicious, I wasn’t enamored with either side dish. I haven’t had the chance yet but am looking forward to trying the sandwiches and the spicier options on the menu. A decent selection of sauces is available as well. Service tends to be extremely fast, and a typical meal costs $ 9.50-$ 10 before tax, which is a bit on the pricey side. Overall though, I would say that this truck sells some delicious Korean food!
