It’s a bummer when the«men’s section» is encroached upon by the«women’s section,» unless you wear women’s clothes, I guess. There is plenty of great stuff here, though, not a bad J. Crew overall. One of the dudes behind the counter was borderline obnoxious. He was trying WAY too hard to be cool, but was kind of… how do you say douchey on Unilocal without saying douchey? Too late, I said it, I guess. This of course doesn’t pertain to all of the people working at J. Crew, but have a little humility. You are working at a clothing store, after all, as handsome and well-dressed as you might be. Love, Snarky McSnarkerton.

I always have great customer service in this store so I wanted to leave a positive Unilocal review. I’m also writing in case this review ever makes it to anyone from the J. Crew HQ: 1) Thank you for your student and teacher discount policy. I’m a student in debt from student loans, and every bit helps. 2) Thank you for not putting logos or the brand name on the clothes. Even for companies I love, I don’t enjoy being a human billboard. So please keep up the great work and don’t feel you have to put a logo or the J. Crew name on your products to stay ahead in the industry. 3) I am vegan(as are roughly 7.5 million other Americans, plus many more non-vegan animal lovers) and would love to see less products with wool and leather.

Excellent customer service, very helpful with opinions of coordinating jewelry with cocktail dresses in short notice for this girl(who doesn’t wear jewelry much) and the store is spacious with both large Women’s and Men’s selections. Sales associates have the knack for being just the right amount of helpful, without being overbearing.

John is right, it is always too cold in the J Crew. Maybe because they deal mostly in classic knits and they need to find a way to make a cowl neck cardigan seem cozy in the middle of a southern summer? Regardless, it can get a little chilly, so be a smart shopper and wear layers. Otherwise they have what every J Crew has plus(in my experience) extra friendly staff. And, they offer a student discount(15% I think) to anyone with a student id, which makes those knits(sort of) affordable on a student budget.

A few thoughts: 1. It’s way too cold in this place. I know it’s hot out, but coming in here is like entering the Arctic. 2. Itty bitty men’s section, which can only be found by traversing through the store. 3. Argyle socks are $ 5 more expensive here than at Banana Republic. $ 5! Are they lined with gold and the tears of unicorns? Because that would be mean… you know, to steal the tears of unicorns. Overall, I’m not feeling this store.
