Flash & Flare Healthy Hair Salon

Romeka was my stylist. She over processed my hair and cut my hair so short (before she put the relaxer on) that there is no way for me to thermally straighten this myself at home. So, on top of the extra money I will now have to spend over the coming weeks to pay stylists to make me look half presentable for work before I can safely be exposed to another touch up relaxer in order to keep the frizz down, I will not be able to go to work on Monday (I have professional job where I have to present information in meetings with clients and senior management often). I was supposed to spend the day with my kids after this appointment. Instead I had to spend hours trying to find/​call other salons to help me fix this… and not to mention the tears of just pure anger over this situation. As soon as she took me to her styling chair to blow dry my hair after washing out the relaxer and conditioning my hair, I took one look at my hair and knew something was wrong. I did not trust her to continue with my hair and told her to just check me out– wet hair and all. I only paid for the cut but even that, after coming home and now looking at it, is not what I asked for. I don’t know enough about this salon to not recommend the entire place, but I do not recommend this stylist.

worst hair experience ever! I went there for a highlight, and Rhoneeka (sp?) really over ‘highlighted’/too many strands and too thick of layers. resulting in a VERY bleached out ‘do’. She had me wait under the dryer (for 30′) while she cut someone else’s hair during my 10′ (not) drying time. She then tried to correct the mistake by applying color to my hair and turned my hair bright orange! It will take lots of time and $$ to correct this. Even my cut was bad. I have now gone to another stylist at another reputable salon who was shocked at what happened to my hair. Beware of this salon. I emailed and did not hear anything back. When you ruin someone’s hair, I would expect at least a reply to an email. Nothing!
