Edible Arrangements

I received an arrangement for my birthday which was today. I must say that the fruit was fresh and beautifully arranged BUT the service and delivery were dismal. If you are planning to use this location, only do a «pick up». This morning the delivery people came to my house when I wasn’t home. The card left at my front door stated that they came at 11:43am. I came home at 11:55am and called the cell phone of the delivery person immediately. I was told she could/​would not come back because she was «back in Durham.» Goodness knows how she got there that fast! I asked if they could redeliver today and I was told, «No.» When I asked if I could schedule a time for tomorrow I was told, «No» once again because they only deliver when they are «in the area.» I know that the person that sent me the gift paid for delivery, but it was all for naught as I had to go and pick up the arrangement myself. I will never use this establishment again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointed. Ordered 2 arrangements and they left the handwritten cards off so the people receiving the items had no clue who sent them. Ugh!!!

They made a mistake with my order and it was extremely complicated for them to fix it or reinburse the difference, not to say there was a lady that was kind of rude and intolerant. I’d like to think that this is because of Valentine’s day, but Edible Arrangements in general has made many mistakes in the past (including the delivery of bad strawberries and very wet and broken chocolate fruit) — I stayed away for over two years and decided to give them a try again but they lost my trust just as before.
