We had a great experience working with Stephen. He was flexible in scheduling, friendly to work with, and walked us through the issues our new home has. After he went over the report with us, he emailed it to us within 24 hrs. He advised us on some of the bigger issues and even referred us to several people for having work done – which we appreciate as first time buyers. Stephen helped me out on both ends of a housing transaction. He went through the house I was getting ready to list beforehand to point out potential problem areas and things that I could fix that would make a sale go more smoothly. A lot of these things were small, but were also things that another inspector would pick up and would just make the house look less appealing. It was hugely helpful to have that insight. He also looked thoroughly at a house I was looking to purchase. He pointed out a number of areas that might cause concern in the relative short term, and that helped me decide whether to pursue the purchase. At all stages he explained issues clearly, and provided his opinions about whether these issues were big or small, and whether they were issues that would need to be addressed immediately or could be put off for a time. Stephen was wonderful to work with. Within 48 hours of my contacting him we were at the home doing the inspection. He was very thorough and took his time explaining things to me so that I would understand fully. There was one area of the house we could not reach that day so he offered to come back a second time to make sure the job was done right. His report was thorough, included pictures and explanations, and arrived very quickly after the inspection. I highly recommend Bull’s Eye, it’s been a great experience, start to finish.

Stephen did an incredibly thorough job of inspecting my house. He was able to find trouble spots and was very helpful with advice about how to make repairs. He had great ideas about how to fix certain trouble spots and knew which areas needed more immediate attention– great insight to have when I was considering what I needed to do on my fixer-​upper house.
I feel like he has an advantage over most because of his background rehabbing older homes as well as newer energy efficient ones– he literally knows how they all fit together.
