Ice cream is fab. Kinda weird that the ice cream selections are private/hidden so you have no idea what the treat looks like before trying! Makes it harder to be selective when asking for a sample! Staff is OK. Not overtly friendly or helpful. But: when you finally find the flavor you like, yummy!

The ice cream you know and love in an ice cream shop. And since it’s a franchise you get to support local business! They usually have a few extra flavors that don’t make it on the board. Super nice folks scoop up your favorites and introduce you to new favorites if you ask for recommendations. PS– you should ask for recommendations

How could you not be a fan of Ben n Jerry’s ice cream? I appreciate that they are patient as my kids take their time to figure out what they would like to order. Try the Chocolate peanut butter swirl, yum!

I don’t cry over spilt milk, but a fallen scoop of ice cream is enough to ruin my whole day. — Terri Guillemets… Ben & Jerry’s is a National chain owned by British-Dutch Unilever Corporation. This company is known for its wonderful ice cream with whimsical names and gained a huge following because of its social & environmental causes. Besides ice cream they offer, sundaes, parfaits, shakes and just started selling frozen Greek yogurt and no fat sorbet. Prices have increased over the last few years. Does it defeat the purpose of Unilocal to review an international chain? Perhaps. Well, this joint keeps popping up in the«hey, why don’tcha write a review for …» on my Unilocal homepage, so I’mma do it anyway, and you’ll just have to deal with it. I’ve been in here a few times recently, begging to taste their Schweddy Balls. Alas and alack, they’re yet to have it in stock! A sign posted last week said a new shipment would arrive 10⁄6(today), so I may try back. Ben & Jerry’s Schweddy Balls are so elusive! My favorite flavor, though, is Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dream. I think a kid’s size is plenty. Small is really rather big, and pricey, too, at $ 4 plus tax. This location doesn’t always have my Americone Dream, and that is really the only flavor I’m willing to spend that many calories on. Well, I’ll try the Schweddy Balls, too, just for the kitsch factor. The folks who work here are nice and good about letting you try flavors before you commit. I recently tasted Jimmy Kimmel’s Late Night Snack — vanilla bean ice cream with a salty caramel swirl and fudge-covered potato chip pieces — seemed like the perfect blend of salty and sweet, but I found it actually too salty, so I stuck with the Colbert. I never buy pints of ice cream, because I have a weight problem and ice cream is just too tempting, so it’s great to have the option to just get a little bit. Anyone who visits this shopping center, anchored by Whole Foods, knows that parking is an absolute clusterf***. The parking spaces and lanes are too narrow, and the center is just busy, busy, busy all the time. None of the spaces are angled, which makes parking crookedly a breeze! And it’s also very hard to see people and other cars coming, and they are *always* coming. CONSTANTVIGILANCE is required! Just come here knowing that delicious ice cream will be your reward for weathering this ridiculous parking situation.

Don’t order a cake online from this shop. Their website does not talk efficiently with the people actually working in the store. I placed an order on Wednesday afternoon, asked for it to be ready Saturday noon. Got a confirmation email, then went to the store on Saturday and they had no record of the order. If you want to order a cake, I suggest going there in person or calling. Meanwhile, B&J, don’t offer website ordering if you can’t fulfill!

«Awesome ice cream, friendly service, good for catering» Who doesn’t love Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream? Yes, it’s a national chain, but MAN their ice cream tastes good. They’re also now offering smoothies and other goodies. I’ve used this location for catering neighborhood events, too. Call in a few days ahead of time, and they’ll pre-scoop for you however many you need and put them in cups in the deep-freeze. The cups come with dome lids to prevent spillage. If you keep them in a standard cooler after pickup, they’ll stay solid for several hours, so works for outdoor summer events. 100 individual-scoops(4 flavors) cost $ 269 yesterday… it should have been more, but they applied the 10% off coupon(even though I didn’t actually have one). They also gave me a stack of those coupons to give to people at the event, as well as a few cookies to snack on. This is a great and easy way to have a neighborhood ice cream social. They’ll also potentially bring it out to your event and serve on-site, but that costs a good deal more.

I refuse to go to this location anymore. The service is fine, but the ice cream tends to be old and crusted with ice. Go to a location with higher turnover.
