I could barely give this 1 star. A negative number would be better. This is formally a quality Inn. The night window should have been a clue! Checkin was easy had a pet friendly room which I paid extra for– checking in I learned there was a $ 25 additional charge… Oh well. Keshawn the clerk on duty was very nice however. Fast forward to returning from a baseball game just before 9pm. Our room keys did not work. Made three trips back to desk noting that no lights lite indicating no power(batteries may be dead). The unnamed clerk simply stated that we will just have to move you… I explained we need to get in because my dog and clothes are in there. This unnamed desk person couldn’t be bothered and seemed more interested in the kids buying candy then making my keys. Finally after the third new key attempt I again explained the door batteries were no doubt dead since nothing liters up.. She simply stated«I am not maintenance”-nice. Thank goodness Keshawn was there and offered to help though she was off at 9pm. For the next hour and ½ we stood outside our door while she diligently tried everything to get in the room. She had the maintenance guy(Nester) on the phone and after trying everything he suggested(including reprogramming door) she said can you come in? He said«I’m busy» now we are not irate people but I suggested that I knew the fire dept had the tools to get in lol. Nester finally showed up and Finally at 10:15pm we got in by him popping the door. We grabbed our pet and stuff and moved a few rooms down Keshawn helping! Keshawn even came back at 10:30 to make sure we were ok. So long story short-Keshawn needs to go to a better hotel and use her excellent customer service skills there. That star is for her. Wyndham needs to do some work with their staff … Like replace a couple. So RUN don’t walk to the Hilton next door when considering this hotel
