I am a bookkeeper in the area and have dealt with many firms in the Raleigh and Durham area. I was so impressed with Balentine & Borg’s professionalism, customer service, ethics and the overall interest they took in their clients that my husband and I switched our personal and business accounting needs over to them. I tell ALL my clients that aren’t using them that they need to start doing so. Trust me — you will not be disappointed!

I did not have a good experience with these accountants. In addition to poor communication, we ended up paying about $ 3000 too much in taxes last year (luckily, our NEW accountant found the mistake). I specifically sought this accountant out on a recommendation, as our taxes are complicated. I would only recommend this place if your taxes are fairly simple; I recommend that graduate students with fellowships/​assistantships and/​or small business owners seek services elsewhere.
