Ample Storage Center

I rented a unit here for a few months. The office staff is very nice and very willing to work with your needs fairly. The units were secure and a good value for the money.

Stored my belongings here for 4 months while out on summer break.
Pros: nice people, good customer service, responsive, clean areas, not too crowded
Cons: information system needs updating
I would’ve rated this a 3 because of an extra month charged to my account. However, David dealt with it swiftly and politely. Would definitely come back next year.

I am rating this location as exceptional. 5 Stars, if I could I would give 10.
David and Lisa helped me tremendously today. Rooms To Go in Durham, located on Chapel Hill Rd, refused to keep the furniture I purchased at their store for literally 4 more days (I am relocating from Chicago and my new apartment will be ready on ⁸⁄₂₃). I was told to rent a storage space so i can store my new furniture for a week. David and Lisa at Ample Storage, accommodated me with a small fee, and I will be able conveniently store my stuff there. Super lovely people, they literally made my day brighter, after dealing with ugly customer service at Rooms To Go.

They had a good promotional price that got me in the door. They also have a truck to help you move stuff but you can only use it when you’re moving in but not when you’re moving out.
My friend who was sharing the unit said he saw ants in there but I didn’t see any when I took my stuff out.
Does NOT have 24 hr access. You can only get in to get your stuff between 7am and 9pm. I found that out the hard way.
