Love their chocolate! We took away a pound of chocolate/walnut fudge, and it is awesome! Priced reasonably at $ 13.50/pound, quality is great! Friendly service. We’ll come back here when we visit again!

First place we stop at when visiting Durango! They have the best chocolate around. Can’t go wrong with any of it but the peanut butter buckets are my favorite.

Five stars for the amazing customer service! Came in to get a Snickers Caramel Apple for the long drive home and they were out. Luna said she could have a batch ready in 30 min and I said I couldn’t wait that long, so she said to give her 5 min to make one especially for me. Great treats, fun location close to the train and wonderful workers.

Since my last review, RMCF made things right regarding this order. As a long time customer I know their chocolates are very good. My wife in particular is very happy they were willing to work with us, as they are her favorite candies from when we used to live out west.

The chocolate was good, the service was good so over all this place gets five stars. My wife did say that the chocolate covered orange peels were a little tough and very chewy. Other than that everything was good.

This store ripped me off! I ordered 2 gift baskets, and they delivered only one. I have tried to repeatedly call and email them, and they do not return either my calls or emails. They don’t know the first thing about customer service – I would have sent many more gift baskets over the years, and I have been a loyal customer since they started, but now I will never shop here again, and will never send another gift basket. They are completely untrustworthy.

The chocolate and candy at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory are delicious! It’s a cute shop in the heart of the tourist area of downtown Durango. More expensive than grocery store candy, but it’s a tasty treat for special occasions.

The ORIGINAL Rocky Mountain Chocolate Store =D I like stopping in here to grab some yummy chocolate or to get a gift box of chocolate for friends. They have a large selection of truffles, fudge and other various chocolates, and they sell a lot of chocolate covered apples on a stick(lots of different flavors). They usually have something free to sample each time you go in too so that’s legit. Can be a bit pricey but this is the store where it all started!

We got some chocolate here for my daughter. Very good but a bit priced for tourists.

As a Mother’s Day gift my son gave me a 8-piece assortment of chocolates. The box came with milk chocolate peanut butter, dark chocolate truffle, dark chocolate caramel, milk chocolate caramel, dark chocolate raspberry, milk chocolate truffle and milk chocolate aspen cream. I don’t normally enjoyed stuffed chocolates. Usually I eat around the center and throw the rest of candy in the garbage. I ate the whole box of chocolates filling, and all. Best assorted chocolates.

Even though I know we have Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factories out here in Phoenix, the only time we ever go is when we are walking around town in Durango. Its a treat we give ourselves when we are in town. Usually once or twice each time we are in town, we walk up and down Main street to check out all of the local shops and at the end of our walk we wander into RMCF to grab some sweets to take back home. In the past we would get an entire pound to take home but this trip we are not only watching our budget but also our waistlines, we each got one. My husband likes the rocky road and almond bark in dark chocolate, while I prefer the dark chocolate dipped pretzels and haystacks. There is enough variety in here to make everyone happy. Lots of dipped apples, fudge, and candies to satisfy any sweet tooth. Just make sure you watch the total as it adds up quick. It can get a little expensive since treats are priced by the pound for most of them.

I love RM chocolate! The gals that were working weren’t the friendliest, but that won’t stop me from getting my fix!

They were sold out of chocolate dipped strawberries on the day we went. :( The caramel/chocolate covered apples were yummy and huge. The chocolate dipped bananas and cheesecake are pre– dipped. The just take the plastic wrap off and hand it to you. I was major bummed. At the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Tempe, AZ mall they dip it in the chocolate fresh right in front of you… yet in the original shop they don’t?

I got a small box of Rocky Mountian Chocolates as a gift along with my husband’s ProFlowers order. The 8 piece assortment contained some very good — albeit basic — truffles and caramels. Nice but nothing orgasmic.

I received these chocolates as a gift and they’re the best that I’ve ever had. The large assortment box is amazing!
