I love being creative and making my own bowls. Staff was very friendly and food was great. See you next time

Kids were starving, I was starting to get hungry too. Stopped in on a Friday night. Restaurant was busy, always a good sign. Staff was friendly and helpful in placing the order. Food was good and a great value.

If I could put 0 stars I would… When ordering take out the lady who was on the phone was literally yelling at me and lecturing me like if she was my mother telling me I need to hurry up and get there and was rushing me to pick up my food every 2 seconds while on the phone with her she was asking where I was at how many more miles and minuets I had to tell her that I didn’t appreciate her yelling at me and she continued to yell at me I will probably never order from there again.

Normally I am a big fan of Mongolian BBQ, but something seemed off here. The sauce seemed weak and even with extra sauce added, my meal was still bland. If you want quantity and not necessarily quality $ 10.95 is good for all you can eat. Only had 1 serving, and it just did not hit the mark. Messing up our drink orders did not help the situation. My 10 year old had to pay full price. Not sure we really got our moneys worth. Good luck on you adventure, there are many other places in Durango I would try before coming back.

My family loves Chinese food. We have not had great Chinese food for a long time. We were surprised to find it in Durango. This place is awesome! Every dish was exceptional!

Tried to order food to go and the hostess literally insisted 7 times that we eat inside. She said you’re going to spill everything in your car and that they could cook it fast over and over. She didn’t even give us a second to respond we literally argued that we wanted to go.

Best Chinese food in Durango. Everything is great and not too pricey. Better to have the food prepared on the grill. Worth a try for sure.

A Mongolian Grill place that has Chinese characters that say«Beijing»? I was hoping I would have higher marks for this casual restaurant since they serve my people’s food, but sadly. it’s average at best. The lunch rice plate I ordered was the Garlic Sauce Tofu Over Rice. This dish disappointed me because 1) the sauce isn’t garlic sauce. It’s just a chili sauce/sweet and sour sauce. I’ve had authentic garlic sauce dishes aplenty in my days, so I didn’t appreciate them serving something that wasn’t what it was supposed to be. Additionally, 2) the fake garlic sauce was overly-doused all over the tofu and stir-fried veggies(peppers, onions) and ended up ruining the dish. I found myself desperately scraping the sauce away from the rice and tofu/veggies so that I could try to taste the actual food. Another thing that happened which soured this experience was I asked the waiter if I could modify a dish. For their lunch plates, they have a Garlic Sauce Chicken Over Rice and a Garlic Sauce Tofu Over Rice. I asked if I could get Garlic Sauce Chicken and Tofu instead? The waiter went to check with management and returned with a No. Okay, I understand these lunch plates are cheap(under $ 8) so if money was a concern, I wouldn’t want double portion. So I further asked, what if you give me less chicken and less tofu? Basically, I just want a little bit of chicken AND tofu. The guy came back with another stern No which I found to be rather unreasonable. This IS a restaurant right? How hard could it be to mix a little bit of tofu with chicken?! Anyways. To summarize, this was a poor dining experience. Please don’t over-douse the fake garlic sauce over your dishes so that your patrons might actually taste the food itself; also it might be good to consider being to accommodate requests to modify dishes that are within reason.

Good food, good prices. I agree, a little short on personality — but more shy and business-like than unfriendly. I enjoyed my dinner, and will be back in the future.

Passing through town stopped at Wal-Mart and seen this place. While wifey shopped I read reviews etc. We both got the All you can Eat Buffet. I thought all their selections and offerings were good. The man cooking needs to learn to be a little more friendly rather than stare at you and kinda grunt, but he did cook our meals ok. I thought overall this was as good as any other Mongolian BBQ we’ve been to, place was clean and waiters kept the drinks full etc. Only one trip but it was big… we left full !

Absolutely the most average, predictable strip mall Asian food. I placed a To-Go order of Egg Rolls and Beef and Broccoli that cost almost $ 20.00. Right after paying, I had realized I had forgotten to order soup. When I told the lady behind the counter, she asked if I had cash because she would not run my card again… I asked if she was serious because I had just paid $ 20 and she said«yes» and pointed at a sign on the counter(No credit cards on a charge less then $ 5) and then walked off. Instead of asking for a full refund and leaving, I sucked it up and collected my order(without soup) and left. Everything about the food that I did get was very average… Nothing inspired or remarkable. I guess I should of expected this when ordering take out on a Sunday night from a place next to a Wal-Mart. Live and learn!

OMG. Some of the worst Chinese ever. I had beef lo mien. As Rodney Dangerfield said«you could still see the marks where the jockey was hitting it». Chewy and tasteless. Yuck. Bland noodles, sticky old fried rice. Egg drop soup was slightly edible but only because I couldn’t eat much else, and I was starving. On a bright note I had excellent service and they heated my saki in a tea kettle filled with hot water. I liked that better than the microwaved hot saki. However…don’t eat there if you like food. I got the food to go otherwise I would have gotten my money back.

Very good value! The food was excellent and I really liked that you are able to create your own dishes. The ambience was nothing special but at the price, it didn’t matter.

Dinner. Food was on the higher end quality for Chinese food, and the service was excellent. Neither the wife nor I said anything during the meal, which means we were too busy enjoying it.

I rated it 5 stars because for the price $ 7 for all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ lunch it was amazing! It came with a cup of soup and an egg roll too. The staff isn’t overly friendly, but not bad. They also have a menu you can order from too. Lots of seating too. I recommend it!

Honestly, I think the food is okay, but the service from the lady manager was not very efficient or polite. I asked for«light» sauce on my food … as in not as much sauce … and they piled on the hot garlic sauce. My dish looked like a soup even though I requested less sauce. I had expected light sauce because when I asked for it, the server said«Light sauce»(twice) as if she understood what I meant. The server saw all the napkins I used to remove the sauce off the vegetables. When I told my server about it, she immediately wanted to get the manager. I told her it wasn’t necessary, but she insisted and went and got her. The manager comes up to me and immediately tells me that the sauce is so much because of the liquid from the vegetables. She said I should order something else next time because they cannot make light sauce. She tells me all this before I even say anything to her as if she understood my predicament. So, I repeated what she said to me in a question form. I said, «So you are telling me that the amount of sauce on this plate is caused by the liquid in the vegetables?» Yes she said. Then I asked, «So if I order anything else, let’s say a fish or a chicken dish in this Hot Garlic Sauce, that I will always have this much sauce.» Yes she said. I told her that I have never heard of that before. I told her that I have frequented multiple Chinese restaurants where they can provide for me less sauce on my items, and this was the only restaurant that says they cannot give me light sauce on my items. She told me that is just how it is. I then told the Manager that I am not asking for money back(I thought perhaps she was thinking this about me). I told her that I think the food is delicious and all that I wanted was light sauce on my items. I told her that I am the customer. I told her that I am telling her all this because I am just trying to help. She said nothing more to me and just cleared my table. It was a very odd exchange. Perhaps it was some sort of communication issue or language issue, but regardless, it left me uncomfortable enough to not want to go back. The person I was with Definitely said he didn’t want to go back ever.

all you can eat buffet w good food for cheap. who doesn’t like that? but keep in mind it’s a very casual, low-key place, and you gotta be in the mood.
