Lost Dog Bar & Lounge

My favorite place in town! Delicious food, great service, and wonderful people! Great for private parties our just a quick bite. There is something for everyone on this menu. Homemade fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings are all delicious and difficult to decide which one to order. Appetizers are outstanding and generous. Cocktails are even more delicious and ever plentiful. This is our favorite place to meet friends, to take out of town guests, and to have gatherings. This place is a diamond in the rough!

Horrible service and the servers all had the same sour look on their face and acted like it was a chore to give a drink refill! There is so many more amazing places to eat than here in Durango! I live here and will never go back!

This is definitely one of my go-to’s for a burger… especially for burger day on FRIDAY! They also have amazing regular AND sweet potato fries. Sometimes it takes a bit to get your food… but almost every time I’ve eaten there they’ve been busy so that probably has something to do with it. I suggest you give it a try on a Friday if you haven’t already!

A Durango «must see».

The food is good! Good hummus, (shocking in Durango, I know!), good sweet potato fries, wings, and other assorted goodies.
Aaron knows his way around the bar, and the WALL OF VODKA had stuff on it I’d never tried… so… I did. YUM.
Plenty seats, inside and out, and they’ll rent out the joint for your very own private party — even better!

Met a bunch of old friends for dinner and drinks at the Lost Dog. Food was good, service, excellent! Jeremy gave great service and we werent the easiest group to serve. Several checks, people coming and going. Jeremy took care of us with a smile! Thanks Jeremy!

This is a great little place, we were passing through town and got a recommendation from someone at another restaurant named cj’s.
The turkey philly and bourbon melt were both very good, and unlike typical bar food, had well-​balanced flavor (ex the bourbon did not have excessive BBQ sauce, which normally kills the flavor of bourbon flambé sandwiches)
Our server, Logan, was friendly, attentive, and competent.

We had a birthday party there with a group of 20+ people. Not only was the service excellent, the food came out in a timely manner and was delicious!!!
The deep fried artichoke hearts is a must! Everyone ordered a variety of items that all looked yummy and the portions are very generous. We will return for sure

I would give this a higher rating, but overpriced. A buffalo burger is 13 dollars and it is a 3 dollar up charge for a salad, 16 dollar burger. OUCH! The place is yummy, they have great salads and the service is good. A 3 dollar upcharge for a salad is quite a hit.

Excellent food. Reuben and sweet potato fries. Huge pile of food. Durango wheat beer is better than Blue Moon. Very friendly bartender. I will come back when I’m in town again.

We stumbled upon Durango while on a road trip. Tired and hungry we decides to stop and walk for a bit. Tried using Unilocal to find a restaurant but with grouchy family members we just went into the Lost Dog. We were all happy we did! The fried soft pretzels were amazing, great sweet potato waffle fries and a house pink lemonade cocktail I’d go back for! Wraps and burgers were delicious. Service was a bit slow but very friendly and helpful and busy. I’m sad we don’t live closer because it’d be a regular place for us.

Usually not a place I go, so only giving a review based on one vist. Bartender was super busy, but totally in control. Had time to still give recommendations and bullshit. We ordered, got drinks immediately, decided to sit on the patio, even tho it was early in the season. They did everything to accommodate us– I really felt they went above and beyond. The food was okay, southwest eggrolls, which were pretty much cheese, chicken and japs. But fried, so hooray! I mean, we’re at a bar here, we can’t expect fine dining.
I’ve since been back for lunch, which was busy. Only complaint was that the food took quite a while to come out, especially for lunch when you need to get in and out. However, bartenders were attentive, and the food was great. Menu is extensive.

Love the Lost Dog! Great service and great food for a great price. Huge selection of booze and bartenders who know how to make a drink. They aso have an awesome patio out back with a tiki theme.

This rating is based solely on the bar, as I’ve never actually eaten here.
I dropped in a couple of times during Snowdown events and it was super fun! The Lost Dog hosted some of the most fun events of the week (music trivia, costume contest). The prices are reasonable for Durango and the staff is friendly. The people who come here are pretty laid-​back. Overall a great time!

Great casual bar setting. The best bar food of any place in Durango and the service is always good. Plus the beer is usually cheap!

Ya… I could say a lot of things about this bar, the only good thing would be that the bathroom was clean.

The Lost Dog has a great atmosphere! The staff is fantastic; the bartenders have their mixology mastered, the security makes sure nothing goes wrong, the music is always amazing and they play what’s popular now — you don’t have to worry about walking in and listening to what your parents listen to! Their outdoor patio is charming. The bathrooms are clean (and all the ladies know that a clean bathroom is essential on a night out).
This bar totally gets a 5 star review from me!
Try the local Durango beer — their honey wheat beer and the honey raspberry beer was delicious! Gotta love local breweries.

Lost Dog has great ambiance– the staff is attentive & friendly. Our grilled chicken was delicious, and piping hot. Recommended if you want a laid-​back place to unwind!
