Planet Beach Dunwoody Village

Very relaxing atmosphere. A wonderfully relaxing and not too expensive way to pamper yourself.

I was in the area and decided to stop for a quick spa service. The staff was very accommodating. I have tried several spas in the Atlanta area but none are as friendly as Planet Beach Dunwoody. The membership prices are extremely reasonable. The best part of all is the sauna… movies/​music during your sauna experience. Love this Place!

I became a planet beach customer because the day I went to tour the place the prices seemed extremely reasonable.
I was told soon after I signed my membership contract that the salon associate who had described the prices to me had gotten some information wrong (IE: all of the hidden fees were left out). We were also told that to cancel our membership we would have to give a 30 day written notice. A few months later I had moved and wasn’t using the services as I had hoped. June 1^st I sent in my 30 day notice. On July 1^st after I had been charged again I was told that it was actually a 60 day notice. I then received my cancellation paperwork stating that my last date of being charged would be August 1^st (61 days after I handed in my 30 day notice). So I end up paying for services I don’t want for 90 days.
Customer Service was not willing to honor their employee’s mistake and therefore I am still being charged. I signed up with a co-​worker and they honored her 30 day notice, and recognized the mistake but said to me that they could not because it wasn’t policy. I am disappointed in their lack of standards and their willingness to bend rules for some clients but not others.
Be wary when considering becoming a member, there are many hidden fees and cancellation is NOT easy like they make it seem. I am beyond disappointed in how this entire matter was handled. So for me 3 months after I handed in my 30 day notice, I will no longer have to make payments.

My girlfriends and I absolutely love this place. We can go and have a girls day at the spa not pay a dime. What a great way to end your work day. Top-​of-​the-​line spray tan. I actually canceled my membership at Palm Beach Tan. I have been using versus spa for 10 years. But planet Beach has the best spray tan ever. Their customer service is amazing. They have so many options that are healthy for you and relaxing. I would recommend Planet Beach to all my friends and family members. If you haven’t been then you should go in and take the free tour it will blow your mind.
