This place is amazing. I had the best server I have had in a long time, Sol Angel. In addition to being knowledgable and prompt she is also personable and engaged. The Olympic salad was so good and the tzatziki sauce is unlike any I have ever had. One more note worthy item is the tiramisu. I usually am not a huge fan, not because I don’t like it, I just usually find it underwhelming. Not here, the flavor is out of this world. Amazing, check this spot out!

Place is small and inviting, the pita was warm but that really is the end of the pros. Cons are many. Hummus was very bland. Falafels fall apart into crumbs. Tzatziki was was week and watered down. Lastly the health report score was only an 85(yikes!). I see no reason to return.

I have ben to many Greek restaurants and these are the best Gyros I have ever have. Very small and a little hard too find but very cheap and tasty! Love them!

Food was fine but service was close to unacceptable. Aside from waiting 40 minutes, when we ordered coffee it came cold. We ordered new cups and hey STILL came cold.

My second time eating here and I must say they have a great friendly staff. Grilled chicken wrap and gyro wrap is my top pick. Tzatziki sauce is something to die for.

I really enjoy this place. They’re right across the street from another gyro shop that I also like, but Maximo’s offers a different variety of foods than the other guys. Both shops serve good gyros, but Maximo’s has a gigantic menu, whereas the other guys are tailored to Greek. If you’re craving anything from falafel to fish and chips to cheese steak, Maximo’s has it. Mind you, I haven’t HAD the fish and chips, meatball sub, or cheese steak, but you should know they’re there!

Best falafel I have ever had the pleasure of consuming in. my. life! I’ve only had the opportunity to dine here twice but both times the samplings were delectable. I recommend dining-in to reduce compromising how the food was intended to be first served. If you like Mediterranean cuisine or are looking to become a fan, you want to try this spot out! [CAL]

I came here last weekend with my hubby. We both love Mediterranean food, and we’re so luck to have so many great options in our area! I would give the food at Maximo’s 5 stars, but the restaurant itself gets 3 stars. Let me explain. The menu is easy to read. Lots of choices and great prices. I got the falafel wrap. They made it just the way I like it. Lots of tomato and lettuce, humus, and I had mine with feta. It was really perfect and delicious. I think it cost about $ 7. Such a good deal. I didn’t drink beer or wine, but they are available too, and priced very well. $ 2-$ 4 range? My husband got the potatoes — not too good. I’d pass on that. As for the ambiance … It just wasn’t very comfortable. There was a very loud humming noise coming from the kitchen area. My husband said he didn’t hear it until I pointed it out. But the TV seemed loud to me too. I would rather no or little sound from the TV and maybe some nice soothing music in the background. I don’t know. I’m not really good with suggestions to make it better, I just know what I didn’t like about it. There were many«to go» orders while we were there. We took the to go menu, so that’s probably what we’ll do next time.

My father wanted to take me out to lunch but neither of us knew what was good in the area. I remembered seeing a Greek restaurant down the road so we went. The interior is nicely decorated and had a good vibe to it. We were immediately welcomed by Dan, and was asked to take a seat where ever. He made me feel like I was at home. The menus are neatly organized and easy to understand. The wait for the food wasn’t long at all and they were happy to assist answer anything and make suggestions as well. The food was fantastic, I savored and enjoyed every bite! My father also enjoyed his. I got the lunch falafel plate and my father got the gyro wrap. We decided we should also get dessert. We got the tiramisu cake and the first bite put me in heaven Their coffee was good and the feel was amazing. I am definitely coming back!

I ordered a large combo salad to go. The meat on it was tasty, but it was not a large plate of salad. I expected there to be more food in a $ 10 salad! Maybe if I ate in they would have been more generous — they had to fit it in a box. I might try it again, as the gyro meat was good.

Stopped by due to traffic for a gyro sandwich and the server/bartender convinced me to get the«huge gyro salad.» He said it was more than twice the serving. Said it was about 10 oz. Got the salad and there was on approximately 4 – 5 oz of gyro meat. I returned and asked if this was the correct serving size and he said yes. I will admit, it was very tasty but I was really turned off by the exaggeration of the serving size because I was starving after a long day. Felt a bit deceived for an up sell that really wasn’t worth 11 bucks. I went across the street to Gyro Gyro and got a larger portion on their regular wrap for literally half the price($ 5.46). I wanted to give them a fair shake but I won’t be returning.

Came here because I normally always see it when I go to Walmart and wanted to try it. I got a to-go order of gyro wrap and basmati rice and veggies. Both of it was so good. I wanted to face dive in those veggies. Servers were nice and friendly. I’m a fan!

It’s ok. That pretty much sums it up. Kinda middle of the road 2.5 stars if I could. We dined alone for lunch, place was dead just a little after noon on a Saturday which I thought was a bit odd. The dude there running it alone was pretty nice. He apparently forgot our appetizer order. When our food came out and I questioned it, he said sorry and ran off, then came back with it about 5 mins later. I wish he would have just told us, because at that point we had our entrees and would have declined it. Food itself wasn’t anything to write home about, but not bad by any means. As I hunt for the perfect Gyro plate in town, so far this misses the mark. The other person in my party had the kubideh, it was ok but a bit greasy.

I’ve had this place a handful of times and it is my go to place in the area for Mediterranean food. I love Shandiz as well but this place has better falafel in my opinion. Not the best I’ve ever had(house of falafel in Cupertino, CA) but definitely the best falafel I’ve had in the area. I’ve also gotten the chicken breast and it’s divine. Everything else is delicious. Staff is cool, and friendly, and I think they’re understaffed(based of the help needed sign) so I always take that into consideration, but everyone there has been overly friendly with me.

I Had the Gyro lunch special, I have to be honest I have had better at other places it was a decent taste what kind of bland, too much sour cream sauce or whatever that white sauce is. The server was also kind of rude not very friendly. So to sum it up when you enter into a place for a lunch and you don’t get friendly greetings it makes your whole experience terrible only give it 4 stars

This is a regular Friday night spot for me & my wife. Close by, casual, & friendly servers. The souvlaki plate is our favorite. We’ve taken friends & family and the menu offers something for everyone. Try it!

The food was good, but looks like plated by someone inexperienced. The Falafel were soggy with the sauce. The plate was small and food piled-up. The food took quite a while to come to the table despite the fact that the restaurant was quite empty! Not enthusiastic about visiting again!

The food was good. Service was great. Very friendly and the place is clean. I had the shush kabobs and the meat was tender and flavored well. The pita is delicious. I look Forward to going back to try more food.

Tip — save yourself some time and go across the street to Gyro Gyro. We ordered a few things here such as the gyro combo, cheese cake, and a kale potato soup. I was really bummed out about the«kale» potato soup because when I got it, it wasn’t kale… Needless to say… I think I will continue to stick to Gyro Gyro :)
