WARNING! The worst experience I ever had in my three decades of life! I came in with no pain at all and left with pain in my tooth and a poked lip. This doctor didn’t help but harmed me.
I came here after I did a cleaning with another doctor and he recommended I EVENTUALLY take care of a small cavity I had. I decided to see Dr. Kim who was close to my home right away, but not because I had any pain or discomfort, only because I had time and money to take care of it right away.
He worked on 3 of my teeth. One with the cavity started hurting, became very sensitive to even drinking room temperature water… I told them. They invited me back in. Two days ago was my appointment. The minute I opened my mouth, I felt ridiculous pain from something he touched my lip with, but I thought: ok, I trust him, he knows what he’s doing.
Mince he was done, I told his assistant I felt discomfort in my lip and I felt it was swollen. She said it was normal.
Upon my return home, when the numbness started wearing out, I tasted blood on my lip. I looked and it was poked /​burned, there was blood in three poked places and there was a blister where he burned me.
I was in so much pain! But the worst thing — my whole lip was swollen and ugly. I was shocked. I contacted them immediately and Amy, the receptionist, said the doctor NEVER MAKES THIS KIND OF MISTAKES… Well, he did with me and he harmed me.
They brought me in today. I thought he invited me in to apologize and to help me heal. I was unpleasantly surprised that he was in fact unwelcoming, defensive, interrupted me consistently, and he invited me in to TELL ME that it was not his fault but my fault.
Regarding my tooth he said I need to pay more money, in addition to the $ 500 I already paid him for all this drama, and he said he’ll send me to another doctor to see if I have root canal issues… What!!! I came in with no pain or discomfort and now you tell me j have root canal issues!!!
This doctor is dangerous and he doesn’t accept any responsibility for his mistakes. Awful experience. I do not recommend this dentist. See my pictures.
