Jim’s Seafood Fresh & Fried

Some of the best seafood I have ever had! Been going to Jim’s since it opened years ago, but had to leave a review after my last experience. Had the special of the day Carolina Jumbo Shrimp that Mr. Jim caught over the weekend with green beans, potato salad, and hushpuppies. I can honestly say they were the best shrimp I have ever had! Service is always great and have never had a bad experience. Whether for a quick lunch or a Friday night out, you will not regret spending it at Jim’s Seafood!

Service was great. The seafood was fresh but everything is fried. I love fried anything, but prefer my seafood cooked other ways. Quick easy lunch, great choice. Try the fried squash cakes, they are amazing!

My favorite place for good and fresh seafood. I last ordered the fried black bass and it was definitely delicious. I could not wait to go there again. The fish was supper crispy and tender. My veggie fritters were a little crunchy and tasty. I love their fried oysters, too. You gotta come and try this place out. Im in love!

I plan my trips to Dunn around this place it is so good! The seafood is fresh and the staff super friendly. I could drink their homemade tartar sauce!

Love, Love, Love Jim’s seafood! It is definitely one of the places I enjoy coming too upon returning home to Harnett county! The quality of the taste of both the seafood, side dishes, and even down to the home made tartar sauce are tantalizing to the taste buds!!! And the quantity of the portion sizes and the reasonable prices are all added bonuses!!!

Super fresh!
This place is REALLY friendly but a little small. It can definitely get packed. It isn’t your typical fried seafood place. They have a lot of different types of fish, not just flounder. They have specials featuring whatever they catch! Staff is very friendly and service is great.
I ordered a combo with flounder and shrimp, slaw and fries as my side. The flounder was good but not the best I’ve had. The fries were crisp but the slaw was pretty lame. It was the finely shredded kind that belongs ON something, NOT as a side. The shrimp, Lord have mercy, that was good shrimp!!! They were large and perfectly cooked!
They have a «sauted» option for a $ 1 more if fried isn’t your thing.
Prices are also very reasonable. I will definitely visit Jim’s again when in Dunn.
