Just went there today to look for my wedding dress. Arielle that I worked with was amazing! Didn’t pull anything over my budget and made the whole experience easy and relaxing! She was great to work with and found the dress of my dreams! Got to ring the blinged out bell!

Like others before, at Head to Toe they are great about assisting in picking out a dress. They have a nice selection and various sizes. My dress required minor alterations. I went for a fitting and was given a date for pick up. The date was not convenient, but I juggled and made it work. Got there only to find out they had not touched the dress. Nothing. They yelled at me like it was MY fault and said it was a mistake. Which happens, I get that, but their mistake had ripple effects to all the people I had to juggle to be able to be at that appointment. It happened again the next day because they put a rush order and I again had to juggle and inconvenience others to make that appt. Now I am out financially for lost wages and I got to pick up the dress and because they rushed it, now its to short and the shoulder straps were done way to high. So the dress fits funny. If you MUST get a dress here, go elsewhere for alterations. What a nightmare. I am disgusted and would not recommend them. I saw a total bi-polar reaction with the owner. When all is going well, she is happy and will work with you, if there is an issue she becomes defensive and nasty.

The consultants at head to toe are so helpful! I shopped at head to toe for a mother of the bride, mother of the groom, sister of the groom and a nieces dress. As you can imagine, we were a motley crew and the staff was nothing but helpful. They have a wonderful selection of dresses and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a pleasant shopping experience.

I cannot even begin to explain how much I love this place. I was getting married in early October, and began shopping for a wedding dress in July. I believed that was plenty of time in advance(it is not). It was my second marriage. I didn’t want a wedding gown per se, but did want to look bridal. They took me in without an appointment, helped me find a bridesmaid dress with an empire waist, ordered it in Ivory, and did so many alterations/changes to it I lost count. The owner’s daughter was so sweet, so supportive, and did everything I needed done to that dress, and would re-do it if I wasn’t thrilled. I loved the dress they created for me, I felt very doted upon, and it was a lovely experience. I’d highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for everything!

I really wish I would have read reviews before going to Head-to-Toe, but my first few experiences there were great so I didn’t realize the problems until it was too late. I had few problems with the dress selection process, though the prices were significantly higher than I was expecting, and the consultant picked out several dresses that were above my budget(of course one of them happened to be the dress I fell in love with!). I experienced problems when my dress was officially ordered. While they had me sign my initials to indicate the size I wanted to ensure they could not be accused of any wrongdoing later, I was unaware that the size they had written down for me was not the size I had requested based on the dress size I actually tried on! When I tried on a size that fit snugly, I asked the consultant to order one size bigger just for comfort and in case I gained a few pounds. Instead of a size bigger, they ordered a size smaller! When my dress came in and did not fit, I was horrified… Granted, I had gained a few pounds as I suspected I might, but I had not gained enough to not zip the dress! When we realized the initial measurements did not match the size that should have been ordered for me, the consultants immediately went from sweet and accommodating to nasty and inconsiderate. They became defensive and took absolutely no responsibility, citing that I had signed my initials so they were not liable. I was not as upset with the fact that the wrong dress had been ordered(because it was partially my fault for signing before confirming the size was what I wanted), I was extremely distraught at the disrespect and rudeness of the women. Only one woman, who happened to be the seamstress from upstairs, was comforting and said that they would do everything they could to make it fit and not to worry – and she did in fact do so(for a hefty fee of course). The least I would have hoped for was for the shop to cover the cost of taking the dress out, which would have probably fit if the right size had been ordered. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with this treatment from the employees and I would never recommend anyone go there unless you are sure nothing will go wrong. I completely understand that these bridal shops need to cover their butts, but I certainly still expected a degree of professionalism and for them to own up to their mistakes.
