Hessing & Co Footwear

Actual customer service at this store. I was measured and given excellent advice. I have wide feet and only wear comfortable shoes. I will go back here from now on.

There’s always 2 sides to a story. I read a great review of this store, then a bad review. I went to Hessing & Co Footwear based on the ‘more important’ good review; I was not disappointed. The man really knew about shoes, and fitted me right off. I have a narrow heal, and gave up looking for ‘narrows’ long ago. This man could have sold me a second pair of shoes that I thought were comfortable enough for hiking. However, he in all honesty, would not sell them to me because they were not for hiking. To me that is someone who knows what you need, and wants to keep a good clientele based on his great knowledge and service. The woman who wrote an unhappy review, was there to return shoes. If the woman’s husband had not blindly gone and bought the shoes for her (without her). The story might have been different. If the lady would have walked in the store on her own, the first impression of the service of this store would have been different. This man gives great service. Another man came in to the store after I did, and he received great service, advice, and knowledge of what can and cannot be done. Sometimes you get what you pay for, when you give and get the right communication.

Okay many of you will rememebr a time when shoe sales men really knew shoes and feet i mean REALLY knew shoes and feet like arch types, toe shapes, sizes, etc…
well folks hang onto your pants, that type of store with that kind of stellar customer service is back!
The Store is Owned by Paul, Paul is «My Shoe Guy» if i need good looking, long lasting, unbelieveably comfortable shoes I go see paul.
Paul has taken the time over the past two years to learn my feet, the size and shape so when i walk in, he knows what fits my fat little feet the best.
He knows my feet supine outward, he knows my shoes size off the top of his head, and he knows that once he puts a shoe he picked out on my foot more than likely im going to buy it.
These are not cheap shoes people, these are shoes you have for 10 — 15 years if you take care of them. These are shoes that are worth resoleing if you have to.
He carries Dansko, Merrell, Ecco, Softspot, New Balance, Taot, SAS, Sperrys, Good Quality, Absolutely comfortable and last forever and day GOOD SHOES!
