Tampa Bay Ponds & Rocks

i have driven by Tampa Bay Ponds and Rocks a million times and always wanted to go in to take a look but not having a pond, never had the need to stop. After my daughter brought home her class tadpoles for us to finish raising we suddenly had the need for a pond. We got our first pond supplies from the usual big box home improvement store. They had such a limited selection, we were not getting the correct supplies needed for our new pond.
Remembering Tampa Bay Ponds and Rocks, we stopped in on a Saturday to look for pond pumps. I was delighted to see the array of not just pond supplies, but tons and tons (literally tons) of landscape stones and rocks. They sell bulk landscape rock at prices that put the big box home improvement stores to shame! A bag of creek stone at the big store runs nearly $ 7, at Tampa Bay Ponds the same size bag is less then $ 4! The colors and variety of their stone is amazing!
They have a huge assortment of aquatic plants and the water lily selection is amazing with a variety of colors. The staff was friendly and helpful. They assisted us on our pump selection, answered questions about the stones we selected and loaded the very large rocks into our car. We returned the very next weekend to purchase more stones. Each time they lined the back of my SUV with heavy plastic to prevent messes.
If you need rock for a landscape project don’t waste time at the big retailer, save the money and go to Tampa Bay Ponds and Rocks. You won’t be disappointed. If you do have a pond, this place has everything you might need and if they don’t have it in stock they told me they can order anything.

Very nice staff, helped out with a filter, pump, and design for my pond. Had a very good selection of anything pond related. Tons of stone, no pun intended. See them for your pond needs!

No nasty reviews, must mean their great customer service is a constant. We had some railroad ties delivered and the driver was terrific. Inching forward so he could drop one tie at a time, not a bunch at 175lbs a piece. The staff at the yard are also a great help and take their time to ensure all your questions are answered. My vote for small business of the week!

The staff is very helpful will take the time to tell you what you need to know to maintain your fish pond. A great selection of fish and pond supplies. Also a good place to get bulk washed seashells for your landscaping.
Would give 5 stars if they took AMEX, just my preferred way to pay.
