This is the shop to come to when you need a gift for the special lady in your life. They’re fully stocked with classy perfumes, scent diffusers, and beautiful home accents. I enjoyed browsing all of their items, but the layout of the store made me nervous. There are so many breakable things here and when the store gets crowded it’s not easy to manuever around. All I kept thinking was, «I hope my purse doesn’t knock something over!». Other than that, this is a great little store in Downtown Dunedin that I think everyone should check out.

I absolutely love My Favorite Things. I first discovered it when my mother was in town and I wanted to take her to see Pinellas County in its entirety. Even though I lived in St. Petersburg at the time, we took a trip to go shopping in Dunedin Downtown. This was my first introduction to this store. I was taken in by the wide selection of cute products. It seemed they carried everything that I would ever think to get a girl friend for a gift. Their jewelry section is simply divine. The buyer has exquisite taste. The saleswomen are also such a joy as well. When my mom and I were there, the sales lady helped us taste test their selection of wine. It is all locally made, from Clearwater no less, and they are all infused with fruit. I’ve become addicted to their blueberry red wine and their green apple Riesling. This is a great gift for a friend who you would like to bring a bottle of wine, but who is not too serious about her wine. I ended up just recently getting another green apple and a cranberry infused red wine for Thanksgiving. I also got a pair of earrings, a more elaborate wine opener, and a handy wine saver(it takes the place of the cork and pumps the air out of the wine bottle) that first trip. I went back the next time I was in Dunedin with a friend just looking around. This time, we noticed they had beautiful head bands. My friend bought this precious pink head band that had sparkles and feathers for our other friend’s 5 year old daughter. I heard she loved it. My friend also got a black headband that had lacework that billowed out from the band. We are not talking about boring headbands that you wore in grade school, but intricate details and designs that expand off the headband. More along the lines of Gossip Girl than Saved by the Bell. My friend has made this her favorite accessory for church. If you need a gift for a girl, or even just need supplies for a girls night in, I would definitely suggest coming here. Honestly, I always end up here for the wine and am wowed by everything else.
