Every time we come here it is fantastic and this last time reminded me that I haven’t left a review for them yet! Our server Ethan was awesome. He was hilarious, courteous, and on point with his beer recommendations. We had a couple flights of beer, I had the piggy sliders, which were sooo good! It was a fantastic experience. I’ve never had any bad food here, everything is great, especially the tuna.

Just like others we’re locals and really wanted to like the restaurant even though friends had told us staff were treated badly. Had a few decent experiences & like sitting outside watching traffic go by. I appreciate the offer to try them again from the GM but by the time we wrote them off we had been there at least 20 times. Doubtful once more would make a difference.

Breakfast… It may sound silly, but I love the scrambled eggs — creamy & never overdone. The Eggs Benedict are wonderful, and if I really treat myself, your amazingly rich French Toast.

I’ve been here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both times the food was excellent. They have a great happy hour with specials on drinks, pizzas, and flat breads. Good beer selection, and service was on point.

Excellent flat breads, by the way! I have had the pulled pork, the Cuban and the Haus Cali, just to name a few. Their Chicken Tacos and their Fish Tacos are very good, and you cannot beat what is referred to as «Taco Tuesday» when they also serve $ 4 Margaritas! I have not had the burgers here yet, but many of my friends have and they rave about them! I still need to get to Clearsky for breakfast one of these days.

I have dined here a dozen times and I am always impressed! Each time has been on business so I do not have any photos to share(unfortunately). It’s hard to resist taking a photo of food that is plated well! The restaurant is consistently clean and the servers are attentive as well as friendly. I always see the same smiling faces working which is a good sign. The manager has been here every visit and makes it a point to check in at each table asking«how is everything.» The menu is crazy long so the first couples time I went I didn’t have high expectations for the food being good. Well I was wrong. I will say their chicken and waffles are amazing! Corn beef hash is solid. For lunch, Margherita pizza is amongst the top three margarita pizzas I’ve ever had. Their Greek salad with juicy grilled chicken is huge and beautifully prepared. I especially like their twisty seasoned fries. I have never experienced a wait however I have dined before or after prime time. I’m sure this place gets busy. Take note that if the parking lot is full there is a gravel lot one building down that you can park in. Great spot for the little town of Dunedin!

Oh Clearsky being a local and intrigued by your menu I want so bad to love you and be a regular but you’ve made it so difficult and with sadness I need to write a bad review. We have gone here on two occasions now and normally I would write a place off after the first time being bad but again I hold out hope. Our first trip included a waiter that we will just say was distracted and lost concentration over and over. We know the reason why but do not want to out him. Either way it involved 45 minutes of waiting for a check an almost three hour mixed up meal. However I can look beyond that if it weren’t for the food. Calamari I have never been served calamari with only tubes and no tentacles unless it was pre made. Not saying it was but no tentacles makes it seem like it and they are the best part. My pizza crust was so burnt it took me five minutes of beverage therapy to get the charred taste off. You can see the picture. It amazes me this was served as everyone knows you check the bottom of a pizza to see if it was done. When you serve this to a customer you are saying we just do not care. They offered to replace it but as my girlfriend was enjoying her meal we figured it did not make sense to wait another 45 minutes for her not to eat(think the waiter forgot to fire our entrees). Although we left disappointed we did not want to write you off and blow you up on Unilocal. Fast forward two months. We go in and were told 20 minute wait no problem got seated in ten to the tables that had been empty and clean when we got there. Service was really good this time so no complaints. The California pizza was also really good and dough was excellent but the ladies 11 steak sandwich had such a small amount of beef it seemed like it should have been 86d off the menu but figured you guys might want to try and make one more sandwhich. The bottom was just barely covered with beef and each side had about 1−2″ of just bread. It was 75% onion straws and also big blobs of batter that had no onions. That sandwhich was a rip off so now we have two occasions that we feel at least 50% of the meals should not have been served if someone was actually checking what leaves your kitchen. A few other minor annoyances. Your new menus are impossible to read outside at night unless one brings a flashlight. You seem to have some continued problems with hoegarden on tap. Won’t go into details as the servers all seem to say it was an ongoing issue. You can read my other reviews and see I give due respect and praise and I hardly ever give a negative review. I held off several months hoping for a better visit and although it was better it was still disappointing. I am a glutton for punishment so I am guessing we will be back again as your menu peaks my interest but please make sure someone is looking at the quality of food you are presenting to your guests. We’ve given you two shots and most likely a third and if that one does not go well we will never be back. Where if it does go well I’d be happy to update this review.

Awesome service beer food. Can’t say enough good things about this place. We will be back over and over again! We came with a ridiculous amount of people(adults and kids) and you guys were packed. Everyone was so accommodating to us, the bar was easily accessible, we drank in the parking lot while our kids played on the beach chair during our wait. A hostess brought out pretzel bites for us. Great beer selection. Awesome food. Something for everyone. Thanks!

Soooo I’ve never been to Dunedin before, but I had been planning for a few days to come to the city to visit the beaches. Naturally, I researched where I should eat. Clear Sky Draught Haus came up at the top of my search and with all the good reviews, it was obvious I should come here. I dined here during lunch time and was promptly seated. Our waitress told us she’d let us have a few minutes to look over the menu. The menu is very extensive and you will need a few minutes to go through it if you’ve never been here before. But, a few minutes turned into 20 minutes. I checked into Unilocal when I sat down and 20 minutes later, our waitress still hadn’t returned. I had to ask the hostess to grab her for us, because we didn’t want to be here that long and miss the good beach weather today provided. She returned to take our order and didn’t apologize for the wait. I forgot what she looked like after she greeted us because so much time had passed, but I did realize she had been walking passed our table many times while we were waiting. I ordered the avocado fries as an appetizer, the lobster mac and cheese for my meal, and my date ordered the Cuban pork with rice and beans. The food came more quickly after we ordered. The avocado fries were good, but not great. I liked them, because I just love avocados and you can’t go wrong with them. The lobster mac and cheese I had was also okay. There were big chunks of lobster, but the plate didn’t have enough of these big chunks. The cheese was was watery and didn’t stick to the noodles. I tried the Cuban pork and surprise, surprise, it was okay too. You would think that«Cuban pork» would be really flavorful, but the flavor disappeared as soon as you put it in your mouth. Back to the service– after we received our meals and haven’t even taken a bite yet, our waitress drops off our check which I didn’t really understand. Were we being difficult that she just didn’t want to deal with us anymore? No, we were being polite and nice. She didn’t even ask us if we wanted to order anything else or dessert [I actually was interested in dessert too]. As someone who also works in a restaurant, you shouldn’t do this unless your table is finished or they have asked for their check. We didn’t fit either categories since we didn’t even touch our food yet! Although she continued to check on us, I was really peeved at how the whole experience was turning out. By the end of it, I only had eaten the lobster from the $ 18 lobster mac and cheese and my date didn’t even finish his plate. She noticed this and did offer to grab her manager, but I didn’t find it necessary since we weren’t going to stay any longer and I had no plans in returning to this restaurant. Overall, I can see why people like this place and it would probably be better if we tried their beer selection, but for me, Unilocal didn’t deliver this time. I should have gone to another restaurant. Maybe I would have had better luck there.

We stopped in for brunch on Sunday with our dog and kid in tow, not knowing if there would be a wait or not. We were pleased to be seated immediately on the patio, which is totally covered. A server arrived in minutes to take our drink order and then brough a bowl of water for our dog. The brunch menu was not the traditional pancakes and eggs. the menu is obviously chef inspired and the dishes were innovative and mouth watering. I ordered two eggs scrambled over smoked brisket and potatoes. My little one got the banana nut pancakes with praline sauce. I can’t recall what the hubs ordered because he ate it so fast I didn’t get to see what it was. My eggs were perfectly scrambled, not dry and not runny. The brisket was diced in large chunks, a tad salty but smoked nicely. The banana pancakes were huge and we all ended up sharing them. It was like dessert after breakfast, large fluffy pancakes with bananas galore topped with pecans and the praline sauce, too yummy. For all the poor service comments on other reviews, we had a great experience and the service was top notch. Our waitress was quick to refill drinks, the food arrived in more than reasonable time and she brought the bill quickly at the end of our meal. The fact they are dog friendly is even better. 5 stars from me and we will be back!

This is a great place to go in Dunedin. It is owned by the same people who have a great breakfast place on Clearwater Beach(Clear Sky Café) so they brought over some of their hits(bloody mary bar and breakfast items) and while I have not been to this location for breakfast, I have visited for dinner and lunch. My recent visit was for lunch after the farmer’s market. We got there a little after noon and fortunately were able to get parking in the lot(didn’t have to go to an overflow lot nearby) and we got an outside table right away. This place is always busy so you may have to wait, but it is worth it. Before when I went there for dinner on a Thursday or Friday night it was packed and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. My friends and I all got the onion ale soup, which is basically their French onion soup. Since I had eaten something at the farmer’s market as well, I was not as hungry as my friends, but I did get to try the brisket sliders one friend got and the brisket was very good. The best thing I got was my drink! I got a coconut mojito and it was fabulous! It was a perfect blend of coconut, mint and lime. They are also known for having a great beer menu. My friend couldn’t decide on a beer so she got a flight and was very happy with it. On a previous visit I also got a pint of a craft beer as I am a big beer fan as well. This time, the coconut mojito just jumped off the menu and I had to get it. One thing to keep in mind when grabbing a bite to eat here, other than it is always busy, is that it is always pretty loud. No live music this visit, but it is still loud because it is a small place with a lot of people. Still, a great place to visit.

THIS is where I will be bringing anybody that comes visiting! I would want to share the best and it is here!!! The hostess team were very pleasant and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was prompt and knowledgeable on the menu(While we did t have any questions, I overheard as she fielded questions from the table next to us). The menu was the perfect size; two sides to one laminated sheet. Don’t let it fool you; it had lots of delicious choices. We required additional time to make our selections. There was live music. I’m not talking the owner’s child making a nails-on-chalkboard karaōke rendition of a song. It was John Barney on guitar. Some great renditions of Stray Cat Strut and Walk the Line. Music was at the perfect level too; allowing conversation and enjoyment of the music equally. While all that I’ve already mentioned is great; the food is what will bring us back! The Haus potatoes are great! Both our breakfasts were delicious. The flavors combined were a symphony to my taste buds. Individual ingredients were fresh; you can’t get that taste on canned or frozen. The Clear Sky Draught Haus has jumped to the top of my list!

I’m a fan of Clear Sky’s Sunday brunch. We’ve eaten here several times, but mostly for brunch. Why? 2 words: Lobster Omlette. Real pieces of lobster in a creamy sauce, add spinach, all tucked inside an egg blanket. Not a fan of omlette or lobster? First of all, you’re crazy! Secondly, no worries, there are so many choices to choose from. One of my faves is the Java French Toast. The batter has espresso in it! And if that’s not enough, it’s served with a coffee liqueur glaze. To die for! Brunch is not complete without a few mimosas and/or bloody marys. Take it from me, Clear Sky’s Mimosas are heavenly! There are 5 flavors to choose from: pear, raspberry, pomegranate, peach and passion fruit. They’re all my favorite. If you feel like having a bloody mary instead? When you order one, the server gives you a portion of vodka, you then take it to the Bloody Mary Bar where a person can help you choose the kind of mix and whatever fixings your heart desires. This is a small added feature that makes Clear Sky stand out from the rest. Clear Sky has lots of seating inside as well as outside, but be prepare to wait if you do during the hot months because everyone wants to be seated indoors. The service during brunch can be slow because it does get very crowded, so be patient.

We have had a number of exceptional dinners and lunches at Clear Sky, and finally made it to a Saturday Brunch. It is an excellent choice for a relaxing, fun and delicious meal with your date, family or friends. Our Server, Tiffany, was the best. She was very personable, friendly, always kept our table in order and stocked, plus she gave us great suggestions. When I ordered a Bloody Mary, Tiffany suggested the Bloody Mary Bar for a minor upcharge. She delivered my brand of vodka in a tall glass and I proceeded to an outside bar set-up for Bloody Marys. The friendly and helpful bartender directed traffic and loaded my drink as I requested from the huge selection of various spices, many hot sauces, veggies, meats, types of cheese, different pickled items, bacon, olives, garnishes and finally the specific tomato juice mix from the array. There is no limit to the ton of stuff to stuff in your glass!(Okay, I came back for seconds, since it was Saturday!) My wife ordered the Chicken & Biscuits with a side of grits, and I had the Mexican Omelet, loaded with chorizo, pepper jack, salsa and other goodies with Breakfast Potatoes. Everything was excellently prepared, tasted great and we appreciated every morsel. I suggest you give this place a try for a very nice brunch to start off your Saturday or Sunday. I think you’ll also be a fan!

Nice place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks. The restaurant itself is not very big, so you may have to be willing to sit outside. They have heaters in the winters and fans in the summer, so the conditions are tolerable most days. The menu is wide ranging and pretty interesting. Lots of cocktail choices too. We like this place a lot for a leisurely dinner with friends. A lot of nights have live music on the porch too — which can be quite nice. Give Clear Sky a try!

Came to Clear Sky for the first time on a crowded, rainy Friday night. There was a wait for the table, so we walked over to the bar for a drink while we waited. The bar was pretty packed, so it took us a while to get a drink. Since it was rainy, they have plastic shields that zip down the side of the restaurant, which is pretty nice, but it does limit the room available to patrons when it’s raining. It was difficult to find a place to stand, but we found an open high top in the bar area and sat down. A server came up to us and rather rudely told us the tables were only provided by the hostess and we needed to move. OK, then. Totally understand, but was turned off by the attitude. Shortly after we were called and ended up being seated in the same table that we were told to leave minutes earlier, therefore had the same server. :-/ Although there are very limited options on the menu without meat, I did find the one item that was veggie friendly, a black bean burger. My date got the bahn no and subbed pork belly for avocado. The food was pretty decent and the fries were thick and spiraled. I can support that. I’d give it another try if I were craving a black bean burger(or those fries), but will most likely venture elsewhere to a place with more veggie options and less attitude.

We came in after biking around Dunedin and sat at the bar to find an amazing selecting of beers on tap. You will not be disappointed! There are awesome beers and from local breweries and around the world. We also found the menu to have some very interesting items that took some ordinary items to the next level. We started with the duck taquitos and cheddar brisket risotto balls with BBQ sauce. Both were delicious, so we followed up with the Bahn Mi(Vietnamese hoagie) and the Filet and Gnocchi. Although the fresh cut jalapeños in the Bahn Mi were crazy hot, after taking those out it was really tasty, especially after adding the kimchi to the hoagie. Everything about the Filet and Gnocchi was tender and delicious. I can’t wait to come back here to try some more of everything they have to offer. We will definitely sit at the bar again as we were treated very well at the end of what I am sure was a long holiday Monday.
