Absolutely love this store! The only reason I’m not rating 5– stars is because parking is difficult during lunch/dinner time(they share a parking lot with Dundee Bistro and the Ponzi reading room), and because some of the items are very over-priced(in my opinion). On the up side, the two guys who work here are FABULOUS, love them, super friendly and excellent customer service! They going out of business in August(Portland, Lincoln City and Dundee locations). So EVERYTHING is on sale 20−50% off. I got some great deals on vases and glass globe oil-burning lawn torches. And my mom was shocked at the sale prices on jewelry. Some got a great deal on a necklace made by an artist o.j. Eugene, OR. I really enjoy the unique quirkiness of The Dapper Frog and wish they weren’t going out of business.

You gotta live this store! It is a bit pricey, but I always seem to find something in my price range! The gal working there was very informative and friendly! The colors in this shop always keep me coming back for more! Love it!(Dundee store)

The Dapper Frog has many cute items for gifts and décor. I was looking for two Christmas gifts for 2 delightful young ladies. However, the sales person in the shop was not oriented to giving much service. It did not seem like her mind was set to making sales. I selected two darling cloisonné type animals as my choice of gifts. I asked the sales person a couple of questions about mailing etc. because they were to be sent to North Carolina and I wanted to protect the animals. She took some bubble wrap and shoved it into the boxes and rang up both items. She rang up the wrong item which I mentioned and she corrected that. I asked her to leave the small plastic bags covering the necklaces for safe handling and when we returned to ID found she had removed them. It is a lovely store with unique items. They might try to pay more attention to the customers needs. Poor service often negates all else in a business.

what can I say… a little of everything for everyone. I went with a couple friends and they were giggling because at one point I may have squealed out the word«Hippo’s!!!» I had rounded a corner and found 3 metal hippos lol. There were wine toppers, sculptures, glass work, jewelry. We spent an hour or so just looking at everything. When you think you were done… you would glance in another direction and see something you didnt see on your first past thru.

What a fun little store… actually little is pretty inaccurate because every time you think you have seen it all you find another corner. If you love art glass, this is your store. If you love beautiful and unique jewelry, this is your store. If you need beautiful art for your home, this is your store. If you need a unique gift for a friend, this is your store. If you just like walking around looking at pretty things, this is your store. I got a gorgeous necklace here for an amazing price which I get nonstop compliments on!

This review is for the branch at Newport Beach. They are dog-friendly, there’s a bowl of water outside, and some treats for your dog inside, and yes, you can bring your dog inside too, which is a definite plus for me. The place is spacious and very well organized, the people are friendly but not too pushy. And the pieces of art glasses are just exquisite. There are hand made jewelry as well, and my boy friend bought a handmade watch from columbia, but designed from someone here in America, so it has that retro-design, which was really cute. for $ 180 big ones. That is about the same price as a Nixon watch. The watch is delicate so you have to be very careful when you pull the little screw out to set the time. I am a fan of this place because of the beautiful art pieces, but honestly, the prices are more than I can afford.

Excellent attention was paid to us from entry to exit at this superb art gallery with a large sampling of local glass art, oils and sculpture. Most notable are the large, wonderful glass art chandeliers by an understudy of Chihuli. If I were pressed for one thing to attribute to the many pieces we looked at it would be the charming sense of humor shining through. Sublime tree frogs, hand painted Christmas ornaments from the inside,(yes Deb, mental note taken: D,) to gorgeous ceramic painted plates and tables. Honestly I walk through most galleries without intention of returning but it is safe to say that I’ll be back to The Dapper Frog.
