Fun place, great atmosphere and the best part, amazing food! Everything we tried was amazing. You have to try the pickles. They are out of this world!

Awesome! The chef came out and gave us some personal attention and samples! A lot of home made items. Any place with homemade toasted marshmallows and deep fried Nutella has to be experienced!

Great stop for quality grub at a reasonable price. We have 3 young boys and they loved the hot dogs. The burger were cooked exactly as ordered which shouldn’t be a big deal but they did a great job. Solid rotation of beers on tap and a nice win selection. No corking fee if you bring a local wine. Outdoor game were a hit with the kids. Expect a casual atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and nice.

Wow! Who thought a hot dog place could be so good! Housed in an unassuming rustic roadside cabin, nestled in the heart of the finger lakes wine country, this place is a must stop if you are on the wine trail. OK, it’s only hot dogs, but so much more. Sausage made on premiss, home made sauerkraut, awesome wine list,(yes, a hot dog joint with a wine list) makes this a destination, I had a dog with the works which was one of the best I ever had. My son had a burger, everything on it including a fried egg. Very cool menu, definatly worth a trip. A little pricy, but you get what yo pay for.

Over the past weekend, we managed to make it to the Wienery twice. I really talked it up to my partners in crime and boy did this place deliver. All of the food was incredible. All the favorites you’d expect, but it tastes better and there’s more creativity here. Besides the food, there’s also some really amazing beverage options. If you’re in the mood for beer there’s incredible beer on draft and packed. If your’e in the mood for wine, there wine list is top notch and super reasonable with most offerings under 50 bucks. One of my favorite things was the mystery wine fridge where you can find all kinds of vintage joy at your own risk. We rolled the dice on a 78′ bv cab and it was outstanding… and consumed with hotdogs /burgers. what a trip. If you’re out on Seneca lake, you should really plan to make this your dining option at least once. It’s a perfect base to have for lunch prior to tasting wine or spending the day splashing on the water. The creativity and execution here make take what would be pretty standard fair to the next level and should not be missed.

We had the good fortune of having Isabel and Christopher cater a couple of events for our wedding this week! First, the Wienery cooked at our welcome cookout, providing their dogs and amazing burgers! And then we dined on their extaordinary catering menu Saturday, for our wedding. The team is friendly, attentive, professional and makes an amazing product. Hire this team today — or go back repeatedly for meals at the Wienery!

Yup. Wiener, wiener, didn’t have chicken dinner! Yes, winning wieners here… and burgers. First, the chef and owner here is a master sommelier. That is beyond notable and wish I could have congratulated him myself, but he wasn’t there, but glad we got to meet his wife. Serious props! Ok, from wine to wieners, this guy knows his stuff. We opted for the wiener and burger art items off the menu. These are chef concocted creations of a mashup of ingredients that rock your taste buds. The K-Town burger and the Whole hog wiener(w/the Italian sausage) were damn good. Both had fried eggs on top, which frankly make anything slightly more awesome. The flavors were incredible. Hitting all the right balances of sweet, spicy, salty, and savory. Nothing was lacking here. The spicy onion rings on the wiener were also bomb. This is a must when visiting the Watkins Glen/Seneca Lake area. So damn good. Sad this place is 5hrs north of NYC or I’d be a regular.

Surprisingly great! ! We had black bean burger after a long trail and it was worth it. Family combo of 4 was a great value. They have some local sodas which were better than regular one(but yeah it is soda!!). Staff is very friendly and their k town fries are their superstars :)

Wonderful. I have family in the finger lakes region and have my share of not so great meals in the area, but that’s not the case here. FLX Wienery serves an assortment of house made sausages, hot dogs and burgers with a variety of fun, interesting toppings to choose from. They also have french fries made from actual whole potatoes instead of the IQF stuff. If you are feeling extra decadent, they also have milkshakes and other treats to choose from. The staff is also super nice and happy to explain the menu and offer suggestions.

OMG is all I can say!!! If you look from the outside it looks like nothing impressive. This is probably one of the coolest places I have visited in a long time. First let’s start by saying that the name is so catchy being in the center of wine country … Fresh meats that they make there … the service and experience is awesome … I wish I could remember the young guy who explained the menu and took care of us as he was simply amazing, hilarious and knew everything in and out! I got the red hot dog with TONS of different condiments with onion rings it was SOOOO good! The menu is so fun! They also have a large selection of wine as well as beer! Visit for sure!

We were looking forward to the Wienery during a trip to the Finger Lakes last June, and were NOT disappointed! I’m writing this review both as I’m reminiscing about those amazing dogs AND looking forward to an upcoming trip this June. My partner had the Kraut with a bratwurst, and I had the Argentinian with a red dog(I think). Both were simply amazing, and there were lots of other things on the menu we wanted to try(and didn’t have room for). This time we will bring larger appetites and some friends to help us tackle more of the menu! Seriously an amazing find! [One very minor issue — the website is a cool design, but the automatic switching between menu pages makes it really difficult to process all of the amazing options. Let your readers decide when they want to view the next page.]

Stopped in after a long day of wine tasting with 8 rowdy ladies. The young man working the counter was delightful, knowledgeable and patient. Cheese curds and spicy onion rings were amazing(but a bit salty). The local burger with black bean was one of the best I’ve had from a local place. Looking forward to returning on our next wine trip!

This place is simply amazing. Fresh meats full of flavor. My boyfriend and I were staying nearby this past weekend and I knew we had to try this place. The Sunday before we left we made sure we stopped in, we didn’t plan on eating much but it didn’t go that way. we ended up ordering 50 bucks worth of food and beer! Worth EVERY penny! We got a burger and a bratwurst. I think we got the burger with the«local/loaded» toppings… each topping selection has its own name or you can build your own. Portions are HUGE! I honestly am in love with one burger place locally in buffalo and I have not found anything that compares… until we came here! I will TOTALLY go out of my way again and visit, even if it’s just a day trip Because this place is THAT good! The hell with the bad reviews, yes the bathroom smells get over it! Milkshakes are also to die for I recommend them! Along with a Poutine! Thanks to the staff for being helpful and letting us indulge!

What a nice surprise on the Seneca lake wine trail. They make everything locally. Had a great burger, poutine, fried cheese curds and several of the dogs. Cheese curd gravy on French fries = genius. The perfect pit stop to refresh and regen for the second round of wine tastings.

OMG this place! So glad we took the recommendation from a local WINERY to stop at the local WEINERY for lunch. If you take your food seriously, come to this place — it is not your average hot dog stand. Even better if you don’t take *yourself* too seriously as they definitely have fun with their weinery. The staff is fun, friendly, knowledgeable and you can just tell the place is run by people that like each other and are just hanging out, doing what they love. The menu takes a bit of understanding but DON’T worry, a friendly staff member is there to walk you through it. There were so many great options, weiner and burger«art,» we had a hard time deciding what to get. We ended up going with burgers, the weiners will have to wait! But you have your choice of beef, chicken, or black bean. You had similar options with the Weiners and sausages so all walks of eaters can enjoy the farm to table food. I went with the«The Local» burger with a chicken patty, the hubs went with the peanut butter with a beef patty. My back up choice was the kimchi burger, can’t wait to get back and try that one. Both burgers were outstanding. We also got the spicy onion rings which are cut very thin, they are more like onion straws. And we followed those up with cheese kurds, pretty good as well. If I had to do it again I would’ve gotten one side or the other because it was a lot of food, but like I said, so many options it was hard to choose. If I could pack the whole team up and take them home with me so I could have their delicious food at home, I so would. I wish the Finger Lakes weren’t so far away!

We were so excited to try this after so many visits up here however we just didn’t feel it was worth the money. Someone took the time to explain the entire menu but a lot got lost in translation. I normally don’t need so many toppings on a dog but the white dogs were just not good, I felt it in my stomach the next morning and just wish I wouldn’t have eaten. The poutine wasn’t like the other places I’ve had and honestly neither were the curds. If you’re interested in beer with dinner trust me… just don’t do it — it adds $ 10 to your meal!

We were in Penn Yan for a day, and my daughter told us we «had to try this place». So, we did, and I have to say, I had the best burger I have ever tasted! Just a normal burger. My daughter had a burger with peanut butter and bacon on it. Don’t knock it until you try it. She said it was fantastic. I am going to get that the next time we go. Can’t wait.

I will start by saying if you only serve burgers, hot dogs, and sausage as your entrees you better make good ones. If you wondering yes they do!!! The place The only reason I am not giving this place a 5 star is the smell of sulfur in the place. I can only assume they have a well that creates this problem. It was quiet a strong smell of rotten eggs in the place. So that scared me a bit but I am glad I decided to stick around. The food What can I say but this place is worth you time and money. They make most of the food in house except for the hot dogs I think. I have a huge topping list that was overwhelming so I went with the Blue Artist burger which had fried egg, onion rings, blue cheese, AMAZING Canadian Bacon and mushrooms. All I can say wow talk about flavor everything on the burger was top notch. One really unique thing is the onion rings they fry them in Frank’s hot sauce I really liked it. I will say I am not a huge fan of the what I like to call«skinny onion rings» I like the traditional big rings but that is preference. The fries were also solid. Then I decided to get a milkshake I went with the Peanut Butter and Nutella. OMG it was one of the best shakes I have had in awhile! The only problem as I got in the car my family decided to «try it.» I passed it around the car half full and it came back to me empty!!! Yes I am still bitter about it. The staff When you go in a place with such a complex menu you have to someone who can explain it you. The lady who helped us was nothing short of great. She was patient with my family since of us were alittle slow and figuring it out. The verdict The place has found a niche and done it extremely well! The food from the burgers to the milkshakes were nothing short of great. My only complaint was the rotten eggs smell. I cant wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Staff were very helpful in navigating the menu. Overall the sausage/hots were a little overwhelmed by the toppings, which while good — didn’t blow me away. My suggestion would be to order one of the«plainer» options instead of the pre-concocted combinations as everything just ended up tasting like the onion rings that was covering everything :) Very cool that practically everything is home-made(including condiments, sauerkraut, etc.) Makes a nice casual stop if you’re in the West Seneca wine country — a good lunch location between wine tastings!

The menu is huge and a bit overwhelming when you’re trying to decide on what to eat. I would have given this 4 stars, but with the staff — it definitely bumped it up to 5 stars. The menu is on the wall, but I also think you can get a paper copy to sit down and read it. It’s not a sit-down-waiter type of place, you order your food at the counter, you take a seat, and they call your name when your order is up and ready. The guy Steve who explained the menu and the concept was extremely friendly and genuinely into explaining the whole concept. Most things are made in-house, except hot dogs. You can add a ton of toppings to it, add chips(flavored or not), and add beer/wine/soda. There are vegetarian options — black bean burger(not vegan, made with eggs) and sometimes they have a «carrot dog.» I wanted to try that but I don’t think they had any in stock. Black bean burger was very good. Lot of flavor and HUGE, it was falling apart as I was eating it. The salt and vinegar chips are a little salty for me, I would try a different one. The ginger ale — so good! I know it’s bottled from somewhere else but it was delicious. My +1 enjoyed the chorizo sausage with cheese curd and pickles. Our only complaint and probably a pretty common one: ITISMESSY. The meals are big and difficult to eat, I don’t suggest taking this on the road to eat; really bad idea. The staff is great, they know how to do customer service right. They made sure our meals were good and helped us clean up. I would definitely stop here again and try something else.
