Dina was my stylist and she did a wonderful job with my cut and my color. I used a Groupon and found their regular prices are reasonable as well. As a side note, two other women had their hair done while I was there and both cuts and styles were beautiful! Try them out!

A beautiful cozy salon with such wonderful ladies. I have been here many a times and have tested many colors on my hair as I like to experiment and they all turn out great!

I have been looking for a salon that is closer to where I live, and whose prices are reasonable. When I saw all of the 5 star reviews for Trend Setters and the Groupon deal, I figured it was worth a try. Don’t worry about buying the Groupon — just tell them you saw it and they’ll give you the Groupon price.
The salon is sparkling clean, very well put together — no clutter, very comfortable and inviting. Dina was my stylist, and she took a lot of time to listen to my concerns about my hair; it is falling out due to a medical issue, and I wanted a cut that would leave some length but also give it some body. I also want to change from box black to a color that’s closer to my natural color without bleaching it, and she told me my options without trying to push anything expensive, and was honest with me about what could be done; it’s going to be a slow process over many months, but I’m glad that she told me right away, and didn’t try to push bleaching to speed things up. I felt like my wishes were heard and she did her best to make sure it was a conversation, not a set of directions she was giving me.
The whole experience was just right; Dina’s level of expertise in both the cut and color are on the same level as the high end, expensive salons in the area… but was actually affordable. I’ve paid over twice as much at other salons, and been much less satisfied with the end result. At the end of my visit, I also was given a coupon to have my next visit be at the Groupon special price. I don’t have a single complaint, and will happily recommend Trend Setters to anyone who is looking for great hair at really reasonable prices, with truly caring people behind it all.

Great place. I went there for the first time today. I had color, hair cut and blow out. I am very happy. Scared about trying new places because I have curly hair. Prices are reasonable. I’m definitely coming back! Highly recommend.

I went to Trend Setters with a groupon and I was looking for a salon in my area since I moved to Bergen County. I am absolutely relieved that I found a place on the first try! My hair was cut and glazed by Dina and she is great. The salon is small and quaint, which I prefer but everyone is different when it comes to that. The other hair dressers were nice also. The girl at the front desk gave me a card for my next appointment to get the cut and glaze again at the Groupon price. Even if she didn’t give me the discount card, I would have still returned and I plan on being a regular customer :) Also, it doesn’t hurt that there is a frozen yogurt shop across the street and a nail salon right next door.

What a wonderful salon! Everyone who works there is professional and very nice. They are up on the newest trends, and I am always happy when I leave. Danielle and Dina are the best. Danielle has been doing my hair for years and always has the best ideas to add to what I’m looking for. They also do make-​up which makes them your one stop shop for a night out or to spruce up your look. I will continue to be a loyal customer because no one is better than these women!!!

If you want to get your hair done right then you must go to Trend Setters. It is a clean, friendly environment. They are all very experience and do exactly what you want done. Prices are very good, many weekly specials. I feel so confident and pretty every time I leave Trend Setters II

Found this salon on Groupon. When I called to make an appointment before I bought the deal, they told me they would honor the Groupon price without me actually buying it. Dina did an amazing job with my cut and color, it’s exactly what I wanted. When I left, they gave me a coupon to get my next cut and color at the Groupon price again. I’ll definitely be going back!!!
