WATCHWHATYOUEATHERE. I found a dead spider in a bubble in the crust. Utterly disgusting. The manager then offered me TOBRINGITIN for«credit» get out of here. Keep my money, I’d rather that then ever having to step FOOT in this place. STAYAWAY.

AMAZINGFOOD … AMAZINGSERVICE… Great place for catering a house party … Had my sons 1st communion party this past Sunday and decided to order from here, my sister recommended. Spoke with the owner John and he was extremely friendly and helped me to order the perfect food for a house party… I highly recommend them…

Very disappointed with the service and food this place used to be good and now there are 3 other pizza spots in town that are much better.

It pains me to give this place 1 star, as everyone I know highly recommended it and it is located 3 minutes from my house. I wanted it to be my go-to for pizza and the like. I placed an order last night at 7PM for fettuccine alfredo, a large chicken parm hero and a baby pizza half pepperoni. Guy on the phone was very nice, sweet. I was considering picking it up since I am so close by, but had a hungry and cranky toddler to deal with so I decided to just order for delivery. 8PM, still no food. Called them to ask if we could pick it up if the driver didn’t leave yet but was told he had already left and should be any minute. 8:30PM, still no food. An hour and a half from when I ordered. Irritated, screaming toddler, had hubby call to try to cancel. Was told to just turn the driver away, that the driver probably took our order to the wrong house(awesome!) and that next time we will get a good deal. What next time? Why would there be a next time? 8:40PM, driver calls and says he can’t find my house. Not sure why, as it’s in the same town, right down the block actually, and GPS also exists. 8:50PM, food arrives. The driver had the pasta flipped over and crushed, the majority of the alfredo sauce had dripped out and into the bag and also all over my floor(went right through the bag) as I carried the food in. It probably got onto the driver’s seat so not sure why this guy would want to do that to his car. The chicken parm was good, great size. The pasta itself was good, good taste even though half of it didn’t have sauce on it. The pizza, had a couple pieces of burnt pepperoni(I am talking burnt black) and tasted bland with zero sauce visible. The crust was good, thin and crisp. The food was okay overall, but nothing like I expected due to the good reviews and personal recommendations to me of this place. The food also wasn’t hot, not even warm. So the driver must have gone to the wrong place like we were told, not really sure what happened but such a disappointment and waste of money. It’s a no from me. Will stick with the place that is two towns over and manages to deliver hot food in a timely manner. Really wanted to love this place, too bad.

I have had many items at the Italian Connection and everything has been great. The meatballs are fantastic.

Tonight I wasn’t happy with the pizza they made. I think going to the Italian connection for years and every experience its been consistent and delicious. But today was an exception. Both pies were tough and chewy. One of the pies was pretty burnt. I attached a picture of the burnt pizza from tonight. I’m hoping that the next time it will go back to the way it normally was but honestly if not I probably will not go back after tasting this pizza. I’ll update my review after the next order

Best Italian food in the area AND amazing prices. I’ve come here since I was in high school and the quality has always been superb. The outdoor seating is nice when it’s warm out and there are a few tables inside. This place has a very down to earth, casual atmosphere with TOP quality food. Some of my favorites include: lemon chicken, penne vodka, chicken parm, and chicken Marsala. The sautéed vegetables that come on the side are also very delicious. Another thing about this place is that the portions are huge. A regular entrée can easily feed two and the«large» sandwiches are COLOSSAL.

Great Italian food! We always order from here and they never disappoint! We get our food in a timely manner. There have been some mix ups with our orders at times but they always make up for it pretty quick. The portions are generous and food is tasty!

Excellent little Italian take-out place! So far, we have tried the pizza, chicken francaise, spaghetti with marinara, and cheesesteak. The pizza, spaghetti, and sandwich were excellent — easily the best in the delivery area. The cheesesteak was probably the best I’ve had in NJ. The chicken dish was quite good, although I’ve had much better. Delivery was earlier than their estimate, and everyone so far has been very nice. There are a couple tables inside, and a few on a covered porch outside. it’s primarily a take-out joint. Parking is simple, particularly at night, as the train is right across the street so there are lots of spots. Prices are more than reasonable for the quantity and quality. I’m a fan!

I live in bergenfield, but I make the drive about every month for 6 months here. I ALWAYS order the large Chicken Parm Sandwich. The first time, I was like«Holy(profanity), this is huge». The sandwich is a little over a foot filled with chicken. My first sandwich here, I had to eat ¼ of it the next day cuz there was so much. Now, I’ve become a seasoned veteran in eating these things. The pizza I’ve only had once or twice. It’s ok, but I DEFINITELY recommend the chicken parms

This place is pretty good. You get what you pay for here. The owner is really nice and welcoming. The only compliant I have about this place is the young girls behind the counter. Some of them can be a bit rude. There is only one girl who is completely pleasant. Whenever I go in there, I hope she serves me because I don’t have time to deal with the other girls’ attitudes. However, the food is great and the owner is super nice.

One night we decided to try a different pizzeria in the area, so we ordered a pie. Eh… it was ok but I don’t think I’d go back. The crust was soft and heavy, I prefer light and crispy. It just wasn’t my favorite.

Great pizza and your basic Italian dishes. Parking is plenty. Better in the spring early fall and summer if you want to eat there. The place is tiny! Owner seems like a great guy. We have catered multiple times and have been satisfied every time. Thank you.

Each time we have a party at our house we get our catering from here. Food is excellent and prices are very decent. They will deliver to your house. I would highly recommend them. Normally we order chicken parm and chicken franchise. Also the tomato and mozerella is very good.

First and foremost I really like Italian connection. I have been going there for a relatively long period of time and it hasn’t changed. The staff have always been super nice and awesome the owner is always there and will almost always come up to greet you. I feel this shows that he loves his business. I have not actually had their pizza so I cannot comment as far as that goes. I can say however that their penned vodka is honestly the best I have ever had really awesome. The noodles are perfectly cooked and the sauce is to die for. The chicken tenders are just as awesome perfectly cooked crispy chicken pieces and a really sweet honey mustard sauce. Their deserts are also really good they have awesome Italian cookies with the jelly and the sprinkles fresh and tasty. Their cannolis are really fresh as well made their every day.

Entrée’s are very good, the chicken francese in particular. Pizza is good as well. Will definitely continuing ordering from them in the future. Knocked the rating down a bit due to there delivery — oftentimes they forget items or take way, way too long to deliver. My suggestion is to phone it in/pick it up.

I don’t see what the fuss is about with all the great reviews. It’s really not that good. Placed my order over the phone and told to wait 30 minutes. 30 minutes roll by and I walk into the place. 1 party sitting down and 2 different people picking up orders. Great, this seems like a place that’s happening. I am waiting patiently to be served but the girl behind the counter was too busy chatting with her friend about how Jon Doe is cheating on his girlfriend. This isn’t reality television, can you leave the drama alone for a minute to ring me up? Nope. I finally grab her attention and my order is brought up to the counter. It is sitting there while she is still talking. I slide the order closer towards her so she gets the hint. No hint taken. I finally say I would like to be rung up. She starts ringing me up while still talking to the guy. I get questions like, can you believe that? Me: What do you mean? Her: I was talking to my friend. On the positive note, the owner was very friendly. Grab my food and rush home. First bite of pizza was pretty positive. Not bad, not bad at all. Then I get to the crust. Thick, dense, and tough. It was so hard to finish it; like I had a second job now and it is laboring through this tough crust. Next comes the chicken parm. Open it up and all of the cheese is stuck to foil. See my picture. Now it is just a chicken and sauce hero. Take a bite of chicken and again, not bad. Reminded me the fried chicken at the grease trucks down in New Brunswick. Take the sandwich out of foil to discover the bread is completely soggy. I mean waterlogged. Rather tomato sauce logged. It was so mushy that I left finger prints on the bread. Someone butchered this sandwich and now my prints are on it. Hope the crime scene unit doesn’t come to dust for prints. Come on people, you need to toast the bread before saucing and coat the bread properly with cheese to insulate it from the sauce. Oh and I got terrible gas hours later. pu big time. So in conclusion, it was not that good. I consider myself a foodie, but not a food snob. I knew I was getting food from a pizza joint and that is what I expected. Not tough crust and soggy cheese less chicken parm. Thinking back, I should have macgyvered the whole thing and used the crust as the bread for my parm. haha
