Perfect sandwich. We had Spicy Italian, ham and cheese, and roast beef with fresh mozzarella. Cold cuts are fresh cut and the roll is what makes the sandwich. The place was packed but the service was efficient and friendly.

During lunch time from 11:30 until 2ish, this place is packed with a line that definitely reflects its worth. My family and I love this local sandwich shop as it serves fresh bread and fresh meats creating an amazing sandwich. I usually order the Italian and I can’t even picture myself ordering a different sandwich as that one itself is so delicious. Also, service is super nice and friendly!

Seriously the staff is so kind and friendly that eating in is such a treat.
The food is the best part!!! Always get the chicken cutlet with pepper jack or my favorite grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella! 5 stars

Best sandwich place around! I take a half an hour drive just to get my sandwiches from here, but it’s so worth it ! They only take cash but besides that it’s a really great place.

I’m a huge fan of Tastee’s in Edison when I used to goto Rutgers. Friend of mine told me this is the closest thing without making the drive down. I have to say it is a HUGE value for what you pay. CASH only. The hot chicken parm sandwich was cubed chicken which felt like frozen chicken patties re-​fired and chopped up, but I really hope not. Ask for the bread to be toasted if you get it hot. The cold deli sandwich was great, while the bread was pretty thick but fresh and soft as a baby’s ass.
I’m going to go in again and see if they can just give me the whole cutlet of the chicken in the chicken parm instead of chopping it up. I know great authentic chicken parm sandwiches when I see them. Round 2 coming up…

BEST SANDWICHES EVER! I’ve been going for years and have never been disappointed. I stick to cold sandwiches but the crispy chicken is great too. Niño is the man and can slice you up a mean sammy!

Great Deli to go to. They make good sandwiches for reasonable prices and give you your money’s worth. They have great management and friendly employees making the store atmosphere great. They make there sandwhiches fresh and slice the meat right in front of you. They really make good sandwhiches and also do catering. I recommend you visit this deli sometime you will be shocked about how good of a deli this is. They are open Monday thru Saturday however they are closed on Sunday. The only downside is that they only take cash and don’t accept credit or debit cards. However they do have tables in the store so you can eat there if you want. This deli is just great and I highly recommend you visit it one day.

Awesome sub sandwiches! We drive here from edgewater just to eat this sandwich. The cold cuts and bread are fresh. The pickle complements the sandwich. One downside is that it’s cash only.

Came the first time and had a runny, soggy eggplant parm sandwich. Figured it was a fluke and chalked it up to a bad day. Everybody raves about this place. Went out of my way a second time to try it and was just as disappointed. Wound up with a chicken cutlet sandwich that had no flavor.
On the plus side, portions are large and you can elect to get a «half» portion which is reasonably priced. Cash only.

If you are looking for the most perfect Italian combo sandwich, look no further. Denaros has the best sandwiches. Bread is so fluffy, meat is fresh and of good quality, and the prices can’t be beat. All I have to say is, YUM.

Classic delis are hard to find. You hear stories about delis that used to pile up sandwhiches in layers of meat in a hero bun that makes subway sandwhiches look like grilled cheese. Proud to say I have found one of those classic myths.
This deli is amazing, huge portions, and greately priced makes this a must for any one looking for a quick bite or who wants a real sandwhich. I usually get the italian and just half a sandwhich gets you full real fast. They have many options so U can order to your hearts content. Not much else to say about it, just really good, really classic, can become anyone’s go to place for subs. But you will leave there satisfied.

Amazing Jersey sandwiches! The bread is fresh and tasty. The meats and cheeses are sliced before your eyes lightning fast! The lettuce is super shredded and the tomatoes and onions are sliced nice and thin. The prices are reasonable.
I have only tried the cold sandwiches, but while we were eating lunch, I saw some hot sandwiches come out and they looked really good. So there is something for me to look forward to on my next visit.

Definitely a solid four stars sandwich shop. I got a #7 (Italian combo). It was big and worth the $ 9 I paid.
While I agree with the others that the bread is fresh and soft, I like my sandwiches, especially an Italian combo, with crusty bread. It holds up well with oil and vinegar.
I will be back to try other sammies.

My absolute favorite sandwich place and usually I don’t really like them but if you mention denaros I’m always in! I have never had them run out of bread on me. The French fries are fantastic! I usually order fresh mozzarella peppered turkey and pepperoni

This is a great sub shop in Dumont. Lots of cold cuts sliced fresh in front of you and piled high on soft Italian bread with all the toppings. I prefer crusty Italian bread to this soft loaf, but maybe I’m nitpicking here. By the looks of the lines stretching out the door plenty of folks love the bread and the sandwiches.
There are about 10 tables inside so you don’t have to do take-​out to enjoy Denaro’s.
Parking is limited out front, but you may consider the risk of parking in the CVS lot across the street.

Best of the best rite here! Denaro’s is my absolute favorite place to get a sub! I’ve been coming here for years now and the quality is superb and stayed true throughout the years. The bread they use is perfect soft and they stack the meat high in true jersey style. The meat is fresh and cut on the meat slicer rite in front of you made to order. My favorite is the chicken cutlet with melted pepper jack cheese and a little bit of Russian dressing throw in some cape cod chips and you got yourself perfection in its greatest form. The staff is friendly and they have great customer service. They have a large selection of drinks, which is nice. If you are in the area and craving something spectacular definitely stop in here for a sub you will not be disappointed by any means.
