Aroma Pizza Plus

I have only ordered their pizzas and Fries. Both are REALLY Good! Sometimes they put more topping than other days. Their crust and cheese make the difference, so good. I would only ask them to put more tomato sauce… Otherwise, it is Excellent and prices are not bad… This is for Pizza only, have not tried anything else.

Preface: I’ve only had the pizza here. I’ve been ordering food from this place for the past 1.5−2 years while we live in the area. The pizza is very good; however, you may want to opt for delivery if you’re one of those people who doesn’t want to see questionable prep when your food is being made. On multiple occasions I’ve seen no gloves being used while food is being prepared. I’ve seen people make food, go to the register then back to preparing food without washing their hands. Although the pizza is good, they typically either put not enough or too much cheese on the pie, and do not follow toppings directions carefully at all. More consistency is needed, as well as attention to cleanliness. The last time we ordered, we found two LONG hairs in our pizza so I trashed it and just decided that we wouldn’t be going back. Bottom line: Their pizza is good, but inspect the food and opt for delivery.

Food wasn’t all that bad but definitely some problems. I got the mozzarella sticks and the Stromboli with pepperoni. Stromboli looked good visually, but once you start eating it you see they barely put the toppings you request and the cheese is barely melted. Also, there is an overwhelming taste of garlic throughout the whole thing. The mozzarella sticks are just store bought frozen mozzarella sticks, they’re good, just nothing special. Maybe the pizza is better, I’ll probably try that next time and if that’s no good then I won’t be back.

I ordered the crab cake sandwich and the seafood platter. The worst! Everything taste fishy. Next the crab cake patty was fried to a crisp. I couldn’t even taste the crab. Aroma usually has great quality food. I normally order the gyro. I wanted to try something new today. Bad choice.

In my opinion, this pizza place is just average. The baked chicken wings and mozzarella sticks are really good though. However most of the appetizers aren’t very good at all. It’s also hit or miss with the Stromboli or calzone. Sometimes they are unbelievable and other times they are fair — not cooked long enough to melt the cheese. The big plus is that it is fairly inexpensive.

We (Steve’s Auto Repair) were sponsoring Montclair Cub Scout Pack 1189 pinewood derby held at John F Pattie elementary school in Dumfries, VA. This is the second year we partnered with Aroma Pizza for this event, The manager and staff were great. Made great pizza and had our order ready on time to feed the hungry cub scout pack. Looking forward to next years event.

I order in here about once a week when I am unable to leave home with my daughter. The menu variety is fantastic, serving a little bit of everything. It is hard to find delivery other than pizza and chinese! I love their calamari, their cheese sticks and subs. The dinner portions are always very large and yummy. The service is always very friendly when you call and efficient. At times the wait has been excessive, but I haven’t had any problems in the past few months. It is our takeout/​delivery staple!

Pizza is mediocre. They’re really skimpy with their toppings, too. Two stars for food quality, three stars for price. It’s a great deal getting two pizzas as the second is around $ 2 depending on size, but the pizza itself is only slightly better than Domino’s.
