My friend from Sichuan province took me here and it was amazing. She said it was the best sichuanese food she has had during her 6 years living in the U.S. Order the authentic dishes and you will get really flavorful tasty food.

The service is so bad and always recommend expensive food and taste no good. We 6 people come here the boss wants charge us 18% group tips for no service. I know in American if u want charge group tips it must at least 8 people. $ 19.99 only 10 shrimp in one dishes, we never come here eat anymore.

I’d like to give zeor star if I can do it. The woman who maybe the owner or waitress is very rude and mean, she always push you to order the dishes which she wants you to order, also, the dishes she suggest were more expensive than what you ordered. If you are not follow her ,she will be very impolite,I never see the service like here and I will never be here!!!!

Disgusting, Overpriced, Tasteless. I got the Beef and Broccoli, it turned out to be 90% broccoli and 10% beef. It was also tasteless and cold, It felt like they had put it into a freezer for a week. Never coming back

Nice service and nice atmosphere. Open and clean inside. The menu has two sides for traditional style fare and Americanized Chinese on the other side. The soups were gelatinous meaning that the lunch soups weren’t brothy but gel like. This threw me off. The two unique chicken dishes(kung pao and cashew chicken) that we ordered had the same exact sauce. The dishes were almost indistinguishable from each other. They were tasty, but had the same flavor with the exception of chilis and peanuts in the kung pao. I will try some other dishes on my next visit.

We had a group of 8 and they fit us at one of the large round tables at the end of the restaurant. The owner was friendly and came to tell us about their special dishes. Since we had a large group, we ordered a lot of dishes to share: –Cold noodle salad($ 6) –Zhong’s dumpling($ 9) –Black woodear salad($ 9) –Mung Bean Salad($ 7) –Chicken appetizer($ 9) –Garlic pork belly($ 11) –Chili sauce fish($ 22) –Pocket tofu with mushrooms($ 15) –Hu Nan mushroom bacon($ 19) –Sichuan Wok-fried dish($ 20) –winter melon pork soup($ 13) –seasonal vegetables($ 13) What I liked: –Zhong’s dumpling: these tasted like Gu’s dumpling if you like those! –Garlic pork belly: the meat was really flavorful! –Sichuan wok-fried dish: spiciest dish we ordered but was a good mish of meat and potatoes — winter melon pork soup: simple soup but flavorful and a good meal starter They charge 2 dollars for tea so the total with a 20% tip was around $ 197, which was about $ 25 per person. Overall I thought the food was decent, but like many chinese restaurants, most dishes are heavily flavored and can be a bit greasy/oily.

After the original dinner destination was unexpectedly closed, we were delighted to find Sichuan House was just down the street. We ordered — dry sauteed string beans — pork intestine hot pot — sauteed pea leaves — three cup chicken — housemade tofu All of the food was quite delicious! Décor is much fancier than your average Chinese restaurant. No wait on a Sunday night. Service was a little slow, but they only had two waiters covering the entire floor.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star but I have to give them one to post this review. We asked for a reservation over a week in advanced for Christmas Eve. Everything seemed great! Got to the restaurant 10 min before out reservation time set. Upon asking the host, she pointed at the table reserved for us. We know they were busy, so we just shrugged it off. After getting to the table, there was only one menu. It was being used as a way to reserve the table. We waited 10 min and still no one came up to check on us after sitting down. After snagging a waiter to ask for menus, he gave us no response, walked up to a different waiter, then the two of them proceeded with their business without acknowledging our presence. After another 10 min, we snagged another waiter and the response from him was a hand gesture similar as to one you would use to shoo away a fly. Got up and left. I know you are busy, and I know it is Christmas Eve, but service should never be that horrendous. Never giving this restaurant a single penny again.

I’ve been looking forward to eating here ever since we moved into the Johns Creek area but unfortunately tonight was very disappointing. Four adults in the group. Ordered Mongolian Beef(MB), Pineapple Chicken(PC), Sweet & Sour Chicken(SS) and Cashew Chicken(CC). MB was overloaded with onions & not enough beef; tasted great. PC was swimming in too much sauce like soup; tasted ok. SS was great; got sauce on side. CC did not taste good at all; chicken was mealy. Won’t be going back anytime soon. :(

Tao(Jack) and May, excellent service and personable, great with recommending traditional and chef specials. Ordered the string beans, Sichuan chicken, tasty beef, chicken lo mien, and spicy zhong’s dumplings.

Got a take away from this place, while on a visit to Target. Ordered Spicy Chicken and Ma Po Tofu. The food was not the«Panda House» kind of food. The Tofu or the Chicken had some spice that gave a strange kind of sensation on my tongue which did not go away for a while. The rest of the food went into the trash.

I love the food here, it’s as flavorful and as interesting as it can get! Décor is not amazing so if you’re expecting a fancy dinner experience you may be disappointed, and sometimes it gets busy on the weekends so depending on when you go it may take a while for waiters to get to you, but be patient — it’s worth it. If you appreciate spicy Chinese food — this is a must-try. If you want to keep it simple and play it safe — Sichuan spicy chicken is one of my top favorites, it does not have anything funky in it, just great tasting chicken bites, spicy with a touch of numbing peppers. If you’re up for more diverse stuff — mapo tofu is another great choice. I don’t even like tofu, but the sauce is so flavorful and good that it’s worth suffering through tofu texture for :). Another dish that’s worth trying is the braised fish fillet in silken tofu, similar to mapo tofu in flavor and consistency. And there is also spicy cumin lamb or beef, hot boiled fish, zhong style dumplings, and so many other great choices. If you’re in a more adventurous mood — there are also plenty of other authentic Chinese dishes to choose from. Overall — don’t expect over-the-top service or atmosphere — it’s not what this place is about,(although the service is still good in my opinion). It’s about great tasting food, and they definitely got that right.

Authentic Sichuan food. I use to go to Gu’s bistro but they’re close now. I went on a slow night so the service was phenomenal. The waiter even helped us prepare all the leftovers to go. The price is reasonable since their portions are pretty big. They don’t fill your dish with a bunch of veggies to make it look fuller. There’s a lot of meat! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Authentic Chinese food that rivals Gu’s Bistro! Try the cumin beef and Zhong style dumplings. The service was fantastic and the portion sizes are large. Will definitely go again with our Buford Highway dinner club!

First I have to say that I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food! This place had great, fresh options but I just wasn’t «wowed» by the flavor. They have 2 menus — American Chinese and Authentic Chinese. We ordered from the American side. My daughter had sesame chicken — which I would give 4.5 stars and I had chicken with broccoli. All of the chicken is white meat which is nice but I felt the chicken with broccoli was a little bland even in the brown sauce. The staff was great and prices reasonable. I’m guessing that they are more well known for their Authentic Chinese cuisine.

I used to have to go to Gu’s Bistro on Burford highway to get authentic schezuan cuisine, but this place blows Gu’s out of the water. This is the real deal! Tao, The owner is very friendly and will make traditional dishes for you that aren’t even on the menu, which is HUGE if you’re a foody! The schezuan fried pork intestines are to die for! I also recommend the beef tripe.

Really authentic spicy Szechuan food and one of my favorites in the Johns Creek area. If you can’t handle spicy food definitely let them know because some of this food is spiiiiicy!

The service was meh, but the food was good! I ordered my favorite entrée, smoked duck. I also tried something new from the traditional menu, winter melon soup with chicken.
