This place is closed and has been bought and put under new management. The place is now called Lotus. Still really really good phở.

I’m not a phở lover. Don’t shoot me. I know I’m Asian… but I love their rice dish. My family loves their phở so that counts, right? My kids are a huge fan of their bubble tea, especially the taro flavor. The staff is friendly.

This was a standard Vietnamese restaurant specializing in phở. The meat in the phở was okay, but my wife’s fillet beef meal was definitely the best of the three dishes at our table. My fried rice with shrimp only had three shrimp, which seems more or less worthless for a dish featuring shrimp, but it was not bad. The main thing that made me sad was that there was no «clay pot rice» option like there are at the Huntsville phở restaurants.

I love the hu tieu nam vang — but I always tell them to substitute the originial noodle with the banh phở(flat rice noodle from the phở). I love the com(rice) there too, but it’s not as good as Com Grill(obviously). But the com is still good =) Oh! The phở is good too but I always get the hu tieu nam vang there. I love the milk tea and smoothies! So many exotic flavors! My favorite is the passion fruit and taro milk tea.

Phở Mimi is a Vietnamese Noodle House thats tucked away in the Super H Mart parking lot next to Chung Dam. We came in for a late night meal on a weeknight and even though they were getting ready to close at 10 they let us in. The food came out quickly and was great, we had the basil rolls, wonton soup and shrimp vermicelli. The soup was real good and my favorite thing we got here. They have an extensive bubble tea list so definitely stop by for your fix. A great place and super cheap, Ill be back.

My husband and I first came here after discovering it was also a Lollicup franchise. The bubble tea menu is extensive, and the staff is friendly and patient, willing to give recommendations if you’re unsure what to try first. The boba was perfectly chewy, and they give you lots of it! If you think you’re going to be going back often, ask your cashier for a punch card. Buy ten bubble teas and get the 11th free. 4 stars. The phở is also very good. Being next door to a giant Super H Mart means that their produce is always fresh. The plate of bean sprouts, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime wedges they serve were beautiful and crispy. The only complaint I could make was that their tray of condiments was a little sticky and in want of some cleaning, and perhaps some labels for the first-timers. Their menu was very descriptive and newbie-friendly, though. 3 stars.

Okay, I have since eaten there a couple of times. The phở is comparable to my favorite, Phở Dai Loi. HOWEVER, there is a noticeable difference in the freshness of the shrimp. So that was pretty disappointing. Also, their smoothies were not as good in my opinion, but the tapioca’s consistency and taste are still the best that I’ve tried. My dinner companions seemed to like the mango smoothie there though, so perhaps it’s just me. The other smoothie I ordered was the almond, and I found it too artificially sweet and cloying. Perhaps I will just stick with the milk teas in the future.

I’ve eaten here before but my recent visit was surprised how bad the food was. My dad and I decided to eat some phở and Phở Mimi was the first place to pop up in my mind to eat at in our area. I ordered chicken phở and let me tell you… I never had such dry chicken in my phở before. The chicken must’ve been days old. My dad ordered seafood phở and it didn’t look like it had much shrimp and fish cakes in it. It looked like broth and noodles. Usually when you eat phở, vietnamese restuarants give you a plate full of bean sprouts and cilantro. This restaurant barely gave us any. We ordered steamed, pork spring rolls and the rice wrap was dry. I did like the fact that they added mint leaves to it… adds a nice little zing to it. The pork they used was tasty. It was a marinated, spicy pork. But even despite the mint leaves and the pork, the peanut sauce they served was very watery. I did not enjoy our food here and I will go somewhere else instead.

Decent phở, decent service, decent bun. Their boba tea is the way to go! Try the taro tea or black milk tea with boba.

Love their«che» desserts. Especially Che Mimi, where you get a tall glassful of tapioca balls, grass jelly, and red beans in coconut milk. Delicious! Also, the avocado smoothie rocks! Service was great and friendly. I found my phở place to frequent in GA!

As a big phở-lover, and in Georgia for business, I searched far and wide for a good phở place to satisfy my bi-weekly cravings of phở. After reading reviews, I decided to give Phở Mimi a try as it has bubble tea here, and is near a Super H Mart. As with all other vietnamese phở places, service is never great. They have the mindset of just taking your order and getting you your food versus actually caring about if your experience is great. I’m okay with that as long as the food is good. I got the phở tai, and I must say I am very happy. The soup was delicious! I also was very pleased with the bite-sized beef slices. The portion was very generous for a medium sized bowl. I also got the Almond Milk tea with tapioca. It was just okay. The prices here are also reasonable.

I’m in a 5-star kind of mood this weekend, apparently. Let me start off by admitting that I only went to Phở Mimi because I saw on Unilocal that they served Lollicup bubble tea there and I wanted to try it. My husband and I love phở, but I would have left happy regardless as long as that darn tea was good. Fortunately, I left double-happy because the phở was awesome, too. Firstly, there was the ultra-flavorful broth. Secondly, the meat seemed to be of good quality(I just had the phở tai, which is the safe-for-scared-Americans rare beef option — but someday I promise I’ll get the bible tripe) and the noodles tasted nice and fresh. And thirdly, we partook of something that is very, very rare in a phở restaurant. Yup, you guessed it. Decent service. A server came out and took our order pretty much as soon as we’d finished perusing the menu. Our phở was on the table maybe 5 minutes after that. It was hot and fresh, and our server even remembered to bring water. He did forget my husband’s iced coffee, but here’s the thing. He stopped over at our table to check on us after our bowls of phở had been dropped off. I’m not sure I’ve ever even SEEN a server approach my table after I’ve receive my food at a phở place. And then when my husband mentioned his missing coffee, our server was very apologetic and retrieved it quickly. Sure, the yummy bubble tea did earn Phở Mimi an extra star from me. But did I mention how good that phở was?

Ok so I’m sure at some point I’ll try the food here… BUT I just have to say. Their lavender milk tea with bubbles is the best ever. Also it’s super difficult to find lavender flavored tea anywhere… Compared to Snow Mountain(which is about $ 2.50 a cup) it pains me to pay nearly $ 4 for the exact same size but they really do make it well. Their jasmine tea and thai iced tea is also amazing. I prefer to have the jasmine bubble tea heated(and sometimes the lavender too) but the owners there look at me crazy when I tell them I like it hot. It’s not that weird, and perfect for winter! I promise! I’ll get to the food someday. but for now I’m forever hooked on their bubble tea. *sigh*

Phở Mimi is badass in terms of portions. Their large bowl of phở is the size of my rice-cooker! However, in terms of taste, I’d say, they’re a bit above A-ok. Maybe the broth was new, so I had to put bit more hoisin sauce, etc. Anyway, I can’t resist the humongous bowl of phở. Can you tell I like big portions. The service is ok, I think we had a shy waiter. It’s cool, I was in your shoes once. The restaurant is new and immaculate(this could change?)

mmm Phở. If you ever have the unpleasant experience of driving on Pleasanthill Road, check this place out. It is right by Super H-Mart. The portions are very large and the soup has good flavor. They give you a good amount of meat and a ton of noodles. I try to avoid Gwinnett as much as I can except when I go to Frys. When I do go up there, this is on my list. I worked up in Duluth last year and it was a very far drive. This place could be on my way to work depending which way I went. One day I picked up some phở to go(it sounded funny when I said it) and they were happy to do it. When I got to the office the water was still really hot and it tasted about the same as if I got it in the restaurant. Next to Phở Bac, this is my favorite place for phở, it is just hella far away from me usually.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I really would(on a 5-star scale). This is BYFAR my favorite restaurant, ever. As far as the phở goes, they have the best phở I have ever tasted. And growing up on the West Coast, I have tried the«best» phở in both Portland, OR and in Los Angeles. One would think LA would have better phở than here, considering the population of Asian Americans and demand for phở is much higher in that area. However, the last time I was in LA, I went on a quest to find phở better than the phở I usually eat at Phở Mimi… and well, I was not impressed, even with my fellow phở-obsessed LA local as my guide. And as far as phở in ATL goes, I’ve never really been impressed, and I’ve tried almost every phở restaurant in both the Gwinett area(where«Phở Mimi» is located) and the Buford Hwy area. Nothing compares to Phở Mimi. The broth is the best part – extremely flavorful, and always piping hot when it arrives at my table less than five minutes after ordering. They also give very generous portions of meat, which is another one of my requirements for good phở. Tons of noodles – I can never finish them all, and they give you lots of basil, bean sprouts, lime, cilantro, jalepinos(why can’t i spell that word??), etc. to go in it. Service is excellent. I wait tables for a living(for now), so I can recognize good service when I get it. Very prompt and friendly, but not overbearing. And since I come here so often, they’ve noticed things my brother and I like a lot(i.e., we use a lot of lime, so they always bring extra and we’ve never had to ask for it). My review of this place is long overdue, considering I eat here at least once a week and I have done so for the past year. Even now that I have moved to East Atlanta, which is about 45 minutes from this place… I make the effort to come here all the time. I’m currently craving Phở Mimi, and I just ate here on Monday! My brother and I always come here, and are met with friendliness and recognition. In addition to the delicious phở, the bubble tea is out of this world amazing. The boba is the perfect texture – not too chewy, and the teas that accompany it are delicious as well. I always order the same thing at Phở Mimi– a small P9, which is Phở with rare steak and fatty brisket, and a Taro Milk Tea with boba. Not only is this a filling and satisfying meal, it also costs $ 8.50 and you leave the restaurant feeling full and very, very happy. I see some bad reviews of this place, and well… as someone who eats here as often as I do, I can understand. While 9⁄10 times this place is amazing, there are those occasionaly instances when the broth has lacked flavor, and the meat hasn’t been the best quality. However, since I go here so often I know that it’s difficult to be perfect ALL the time, and it’s still my favorite place and always will be! Everyone who asks me where to get phở, I tell them, hands-down, PHOMIMI. It’s a shame that this place is so out of the way, and that could be one of the main reasons why they don’t receive the recognition they deserve. I love love love this restaurant and always will, and definitely reccommend it.

Tried this place on one of my frequent grocery shopping trips to H Mart. Clean and simple smallish interior. Glass walls on two sides let in lots of light. The summer rolls(goi cuon) are very plump and fresh, some of the best I’ve had. The peanut sauce is runnier than I typically like, but tasty. Phở, just okay. Mainly the broth delivers little punch, needs deeper flavor. Good amount of fresh meat and whopping amount of noodles. Many other places need to add more noodles, however this is a bit much. Condiments are fresh, but surprisingly no little saucers on the table, to be used for dipping meat in sauces. Strange. Took a long time for my phở to arrive. This also was a little surprising for a phở place. I was overall not hugely impressed.

This isn’t a bad place to have a bowl of hot Phở when you’re lazy to make a drive to Buford(that is if you’re in the Lawrenceville area). The one thing that I do like about this place is if they screw up on your meal, they usually don’t try to get you to accept their mistakes and just eat what you didn’t order like most asian restaurants do. They quickly turn around and make you what you want! That’s good service to me.

Phở Mimi Noodle House is a clean, bright café in the same plaza with the Duluth Super H. The menu serves up both phở and Vietnamese grilled foods, as well as some Thai dishes. Solid food in a nice environment — I went on a weekend, but i can imagine if you work in the area, that this would be a great place for a quick weekday lunch, too.
